Thank for responding Andew. I appreciate you thinking about it. If you ever need feedback from your users I'm available. I've now spent a lot of time setting all of these systems up, and the more users we get, the more complicated it all becomes.I've been suggesting everyone go with standard size zones in order to make sharing content between departments on campus easier. Our newest digital signage customer, Transportation services, is really excited about the possibility of sharing content with the Library... And the Library likes the idea of sharing content across branches. Thanks!

RSS Image Feed 'feild'/embedded images questionHello!
I need some technical support/guidance/advice about how to get Carousel to read UCSD News RSS feed images... If someone could at least tell me if it is possible or not, that would be helpful. The thing is they have images embedded in some format other than #ItemImageURL# and it is unclear to me whether or not there is a way I can write or rewrite the field to make it read the images. Here are two links, the first is the way they are currently doing it, the second is the way they are proposing to do it.

Your assistance would be greatly appreciated. I'd love to get this working as I think it would be the coolest thing ever for campus!
Thanks,
Megan

Josh, John,
This is a big problem for us too. We really need the ability to let some users have full control of their channels while restricting their access to others. We haven't had a problem with this yet, but I know we will in the future, especially with some of our more tech-savvy users who aren't going to understand why they can't set up their own channel. Yikes. I fear the day I have to explain this.

Time and Date Background Box EnabledI'm having a problem with the date and time feature. For some reason, it is giving me a black box around my date and time, when it should be transparent. I've got the background box disabled, but it's still showing up. Help!?
PS - I still think you should make the clock bulletin location adjustable in the zone so that I don't have to use the time/date function in the channel. It would be much more functional.

Some Suggestions to Improve Carousel and FrontdoorHi Folks, I've been working with setting up permissions in Carousel, and I have some suggestions that I think would make Carousel a better product.
1)I think you should set up permissions a little differently on the dynamic bulletins. Why not break those down into discrete categories?... Because I want people to be able to put up RSS bulletins, but not interactive bulletins because our screens are not interactive.
2) Make it possible to set permissions to create and edit templates in my media and zone media. Right now the only way to do it is to give people access to the original templates or not, and I don't want every user altering the original templates on the zone.
3) You have got to do something to make it easier to save dynamic bulletin templates. It's crazy to have to do this on the server. This is the biggest flaw I have encountered with Carousel yet. Those dynamic bulletins take so long to set up, but they are so powerful. It is maddening to not have a simple way to share them.
4)Finally, please update the look of Frontdoor. I love your product, but it is hard to explain to people why it is so good, when they think it looks like websites from 1997. (Ugh that makes me feel old.)
Thanks,
Megan

After doing some tests I found this only occurs if users do not have ADMIN privileges to the zone... but it is still a big problem, because I need to restrict access to the admin account while allowing users to access the schedule function.
Also, the user is logged out regardless of whether or not there is an active schedule bulletin running.-

Inadvertently being logged out of Carousel. When logged on as a user without admin privileges, but with access to all other features of a particular zone, I am inadvertently logged out of Carousel when I click on the "Event Schedule" button. Is this because this particular user account does not have access to this feature since they are not an admin of the zone? It seems to me that if that is the case, the button should not appear at all. Not sure what is going on here.
