Mehdi replied on November 26, 2009 16:29 to the question "local connet number" in Rebtel:
Kade,
Deleting contacts won ́t make a change, the numbers keep being stored in the data.
The only way to delete the previous contacts completely from the system is to cancel the account and register again.
Remember, double dial option is always a great alternative to call as many contacts as you want without any further impediments.

Mehdi replied on November 26, 2009 13:25 to the question "When does per-minute charging begin?" in Rebtel:
Matt,
The 1 minute billing is operational since the 12th November.
Calls shorter than 10 sec aren’t charged for – this is to allow you to hang up if you hit an answering machine OR if you would like to hang up to make a Free call.
- For calls longer than 10 sec, you get charged for the entire minute.

Mehdi replied on November 26, 2009 09:02 to the question "local connet number" in Rebtel:
Kade,
This is since you have reached the maximum number of contacts to add and we have ’spill over' functionality so that you have the possibility to use other area codes for creating more numbers.
There is a limit of the amount of contacts to add in each city/area, the limit for Vancouver 778 local numbers is 19 contacts, once you reach that limit Rebtel will start generating for you local numbers in another city/area.
Remember, You can also use the double dialing option and call as many contacts as you want without any impediments. Call the Rebtel Operator 778 785 3862 and follow the instructions. Here I enclose a link when you can find all Rebtel operator access numbers:
http://www.rebtel.com/en/Get-Help/faq...
If this isn ́t what you reffer to, please send us an email to customerteam@rebtel.com with a description of the issue, including your Rebtel account details, so we can look thoroughly on it
Mehdi replied on November 02, 2009 08:18 to the problem "Balance issue!" in Rebtel:
Luly,
These could be the possibilities why you hear that prompt:
1- You are calling from a different phone than the registered one.
2- You do not have enough balance on your phone. (remember you pay the local part of the call to your phone operator)
Please, make sure that you call from your registered phone, and make certain you possess enough credit on your phone to be able to pay the local leg of the call to your phone operator.

Mehdi replied on November 01, 2009 20:01 to the question "How does call back free work?" in Rebtel:
Grace,
As soon as you add your HK friend as a contact, we generate a US local number for you and a HK number for your friend in HK (as Denis explained).
Dial the Rebtel US number, and once your friend answers tell him/her to hang up (while you stay online) and call you back on the HK Rebtel number we generated for him/her. The call will reconnect and the international leg of the call will be free, you and your friend will only pay the local part of the call to your phone operators but nothing to Rebtel.

Mehdi replied on October 30, 2009 10:45 to the question "about payment" in Rebtel:
Adnan,
The charges for your calls through Rebtel local numbers are automatically deducted from your Rebtel prepaid balance. You can review your call history and billing history at the Rebtel web site by logging into the account and click on “My account.
When making a call to Pakistan through Rebtel, we will charge the international leg of the call at the rate stated on our site from the Pre-paid credit added at your Rebtel balance. Your local phone provider will charge the remainder (from phone to local number), and this will appear on your Provider phone bill statement.
The mininum amount you can purchase is $10.
