The network site is currently down and we are re-designing from the bottom up using open source tools.

Hi Alex

Thanks for contacting us about the Freelance Advisor network but due to circumstances beyond our control we are currently unable to offer a stable, supported social platform for the community.

We're working to solve this as soon as we can and we will let everyone know when the network is live and ready once again.

We're looking at re-tooling a little and implementing an Open Source solution, such as ELGG. And, if you have anything on your wishlist please do let us know.

Apologies for the false start! Look forward to connecting with you all again soon. In the meantime feel free to chat in the comments section of the site and via twitter - @freelanceadvice

Good question. The button is part of the Getsatisfaction toolkit that you used to contact us. If you have a GS account for your site/company then you just need to go explore the widgets section (visible only when you have an account and you are logged in).

It just a bit of javascript, however, so you could replicate it on any site, you just need to google around for tips.

It would be really great if the details section of the profile was fixed... it's good to be able to move items around... but some standardization for main info, name, image, 'add me' would be good.
