I believe what is happening is that when you signed up to TokBox you invited several people from your email address book. They may well have deleted/forgotten that invitation. Now, when they come to sign up to TokBox with the same email address that you had for them in your address book they are getting the invitation you sent them some time ago from an account that was already deleted. Unfortunately if this is the case there is nothing we can do about it.

We try and work on as many things that we can that users ask for, but we have a long list of priorities. So, unfortunately we do not currently support Linux or international keyboards.

You do not need your date of birth to recover your password. Simply click on the "forgot password" link at www.tokbox.com and you will be sent an email to your Yahoo address to reset the password

Also, you need to make sure that you didn't download TokBox to her computer.

Did you try running through the camera and mic settings on TokBox? Do you have Skype or any other program that uses a webcam running in the background?

I am not 100% sure what is happening here, so let me ask a few questions.
1. Have you used TokBox successfully on this computer before? Is it Mac or PC? Are you operating Linux by any chance?
2. Can you record a video message on TokBox? Is this what you mean by record here?
3. When you say "connecting with AIM or MSN" is this the fact that you have those IM accounts connected to TokBox?
4. Have you tried running through Camera and Mic settings on TokBox?

Let me know and we'll see if we can get the problem fixed.

You don't need to log in, but I am not sure what is causing it to take such a long time to load. Could you send me more details to contact@tokbox.com?

You should either see a blue "Friend Request" button at the top of your contact list. If you click on this you will get the option to accept his friend request. Alternatively you should have received an email request sent to the email address that you signed up to TokBox with.
