Hi,
Were you running our Beta earlier? This is a bit strange...
Go to the following folder:
Vista: \Users\(user)\AppData\Roaming\Bump Technologies, Inc\BumpTop\Updates
XP: \Users\(user)\Local Settings\Application Data\Bump Technologies, Inc\BumpTop\Updates
Do you see a file called message.txt? If so, could you let us know what's inside it? After you do that, delete it and the problem should go away.

HI Dave,
Could you please reply to me personally at billing@bumptop.com ? In the meantime, what happens when you re-install BumpTop and run it as the free edition? You will have to delete your settings file to downgrade to pro version:

Mike replied on November 11, 2008 15:59 to the question "Strange blank icons stuck in the desktop" in BumpTop:
Hi,
Unfortunately, we don't support the Recycle Bin, My Documents folder, etc. on Vista x64 yet. I have the same problem on my machine. If you are using Vista x64 and can't make the icons go away, do the following:
1. Right-click on the Desktop
2. Choose "Personalize"
3. In the window that pops up, choose "Change desktop icons"
4. Uncheck all the icons
Mike replied on November 10, 2008 17:15 to the problem "Cannot register beta, problem with internet." in BumpTop:
Sure, go to the settings dialog, and uncheck the "Bump! This Folder" Explorer Toolbar option.
Could you confirm again that the internet works when the settings app is open, but not when its closed? And when it works, have you always filled in the manual parameters, or do the automatic IE settings work as well?
To test, try loading some new picture frames in BumpTop in each case (settings app open/closed). Be patient, it can take about 10 seconds to load a picture frame. :) Thanks for the help!
