An easy way to think of Chess960 is that the starting positions of all the main pieces (pieces that are not pawns) for a game are scrambled in such way that it is still possible for the king to castle. Black and white both get the same starting position.

The PGN button will appear after the game has ended. We have found that people cheat but cutting and pasting the PGN during the game into a chess engine and then use the chess engine to play from there.

User's lag is displayed when they challenge you and while you are playing them.

Initial testing of the version 3 shows a drastic improvement in the lag situation. Especially for players outside of Europe.

Ok. So as far as I can tell your time didn't stop after you made a move. Or did your time run out before you made your move? How long did you wait after you made your move before you lost the game? Was it a split second or 5 seconds or a minute?

We have seen instances where the server is under heavy load and a move gets lost in the system. We are currently working on a multiple game server solution that allows for less load on the system which should hopefully eradicate all lag spikes and messages getting lost.

If you can give us more details we can look into it. As far as I know it can happen if you or your opponent has bad lag.

We have been working hard on our new version 3 of ChessCube and we have added some pretty radical new design features.
