Image location questionNot sure if this is a Zemanta bug or a WP theme issue, but here goes.
On http://www.avantmusicnews.com/, I just upgraded to the Disciple 1.15 theme. Images now appear above the text of posts, and text does not wrap around the images like it used to.
I think there is an extratag that may be causing this, but I'm not sure. I am using the WP plugin, WP 2.9, and the Chrome browser.
Any advice appreciated.
Thanks

Here are the results: http://dromaeo.com/?id=82512
Also of note: I do not have the same issue when running the new beta of Chrome with the Zemanta plugin on the same PC. Chrome has no noticeable lag while Firefox does.

Clicking on the post category checkboxes is noticably slower when Zemanta is installed. I ran Windows task manager while doing so and found that the CPU utilization for Firefox spikes to 6-10% when the Zemanta plugin is running, but if Zemanta is disabled, there is no effect. The same slowness applies to clicking on Zemanta's link and image boxes.
I have a 2.2 Ghz Centrino duo running Windows XP, with all updates installed.
I also have the Firefox plugins pdf download, show ip, xmarks, noscript linkification, forecastfox, google gears, java quick starter, fire fm.
I'll try to capture the error message next time I see it. I think it was a timeout.
Thanks!

New UI slow? The new interface is nice but I've noticed a half-second lag when checking or clicking (or unchecking or unclicking) boxes. Generally the UI seems a bit slower and it tends to fail to load more frequently
I am running the Firefix plugin, using Wordpress and Firefox 3.5.5 on a privately hosted web site.
Thanks.
Mike B asked a question in Zemanta on February 11, 2009 10:34:
Filtering related articles sources? Most of Zemanta's recommendations for related links come from my own blog. Is there any way of filtering out my blog from the links produced so that I can more easily include links to sites other than my own?
Thanks.

last.fm images not showing?Using FF 3.0.6 and Wordpress 2.7 I can insert images from last.fm just fine, but when I view the blog posts, I just get this (for example).
Sean Reinert (via last.fm)
Where the text that replaced the image (here, the text "Sean Reinert") is a link to the guy's last.fm page.
I was hoping to get the image instead.
Is this behavior intentional?
Thanks.

Thanks.
I removed the reblog section and problem was fixed. However, when I added it back, the problem returned. I noticed an unterminated (unmatched) "[" character in the content of the post. When I removed that character, the problem was fixed, even when the reblog section is present.
Presently, I have left the post in a fixed state. However if you want me to try to reproduce the issue, just let me know.
Mike

Zemanta breaking 3 column wordpress layout? Not sure if this is Zemanta or not but I think it might be.
My blog is wordpress with a 3 column theme. Suddenly and very recently the third column is appearing below the 2nd (middle) column.
I tried deactivating all plugins and the problem persists.
So it might be Zemanta messing up the layout?
In any case, the site is http://www.avantmusicnews.com/
Thanks.

0.5.0 image location bad in WP 2.6Seems like this update doesn’t place images as well in Wordpress blogs. The previous version did.
I’m using the Firefox plugin, FF 3.0.1, Wordpress 2.6. You can see the results at http://www.avantmusicnews.com
The most recent post puts the text below and to the left of the image, but using the previous version of Zemanta on the rest of the posts on the site, the images and text are next to one another.
Perhaps this is due to the use of div tags rather than span tags?
