For what it is worth, in the compose panel it looks like it used to but when you publish it the photo ends up on the top. – jeff, on September 19, 2008 18:43

Yep, we've changed the HTML a bit. We'll check this again in the next few days to see how it behaves on a wider range of blogs and see what we can do to make it work more consistently.
For now I can only recommend tweaking CSS a bit to give a better layout. Right now we use the default Wordpress classes in 2.6.x, so adding this to your CSS should also give you proper support for Wordpress images.

0.5.0 image location bad in WP 2.6Seems like this update doesn’t place images as well in Wordpress blogs. The previous version did.
I’m using the Firefox plugin, FF 3.0.1, Wordpress 2.6. You can see the results at http://www.avantmusicnews.com
The most recent post puts the text below and to the left of the image, but using the previous version of Zemanta on the rest of the posts on the site, the images and text are next to one another.
Perhaps this is due to the use of div tags rather than span tags?
