I too, have this issue. Last night, the reset tool told me that my email address did not exist. Today, when I tried it, it reset a password for an account I've never heard of. My user name is mikesfl and my email address is mike at cyberstalk.me. I hope the solution is no longer to delete the association. It takes ages to get a commenter account approved of Giz and I don't want to go through that again. To the best of my knowledge, I did not start my account as an anonymous one. So I think the kink is somewhere else.

Hello, I'm afraid I've lost my password to my commenting account with Gizmodo. I tried to use the tool provided to reset forgotten passwords but the system responded with "That email address is not in our records. Please try again." I don't have any reason to think that my account was suspended, so I am a bit mystified. My username is: mikesfl. My email address is mike at cyberstalk.me Thanks in advance!
