Mike Martin replied on December 24, 2009 20:06 to the question "will the chatroom be adding some type of admin tools?" in SocialGO:
Hi Jim,
We will be making some changes to the chat room within the next few weeks, regarding getting it to load all the way, your members who are behind a proxy server will currently have to wait until we get the proxy server fall back developed early next year. I would go as far as to say I wouldn't be surprised that it is your members who are behind a proxy who are having difficulty with it loading.

Hi there, I recommend this documentation: http://api.socialgo.com/docs/
It references the SocialGO API.
Example PHP code is in the Admin Center under Network API Access -> 'Download Example PHP Code'

Mike Martin replied on September 28, 2009 20:49 to the question "Manually change the Sign In password ?" in SocialGO:
Hi folks,
Yes, it's true, you can use the API to set/reset a Member's password should you wish to write an interface to do this yourself.
Alternatively you can use a small Adobe Air app to do this for you. Checkout this blog post: http://owners.socialgo.com/members/pr...
We are also adding the ability for owners to reset their members' passwords using the Admin Center. This should be on its way to owners very shortly.
Hope this helps,
Mike

Mike Martin shared an idea in Get Satisfaction on September 03, 2009 00:57:
Follow discussions using my Twitter accountHi, have a feature request here, when we choose 'Follow discussion', based on our Email & Notification settings, can we have notify my Twitter account?
For example, as an Employee I'm following an issue about Server Speeds, I've configured GetSat to 'Notify my Twitter account' (and not my Primary Email address) when someone contributes to a discussion.
I'm looking at Twitter feeds more than my GMail account, so I'll see the issue pop-up if there's an update.
I realise this may not be a feature for all but would be cool for me from a management perspective, wanting to follow specific tasks / issues.-

Mike Martin replied on July 14, 2009 22:38 to the question "Two name servers?" in SocialGO:
Hi TKHayes,
As Alex suggested, we do not provide nameservers for you to use. So you will need to use the ones provided by your domain registrar. Some domain registrars do not provide a free nameserver service. Registrars like mydomain.com and godaddy.com do.
So pointing your nameservers to SocialGO will not work.
May I ask, which domain registrar did you go with?
Thanks,
Mike

Please make sure you enter Godaddy's nameservers, not ours. SocialGO currently don't offer nameserver hosting.
http://getsatisfaction.com/socialgo/t...
Explains how to setup your custom domain, especially if you're on Godaddy. You need to set your nameservers to the 'Default Parked Name Servers'. Search for 'Total DNS Control' in that thread I've linked to.
Hope this helps.

Thanks mockups and Ryan for reporting this.
Can I ask are your networks setup with moderator approval of new members or as standard allowing all signups?
And apart from those existing 'Email pending' members, have you had subsequent successful new signups acting properly (eg, since this problem first occurred, have you had new members without this problem successfully signup)?

Mike Martin replied on December 15, 2008 11:38 to the problem "Password Reset Problems" in SocialGO:
Hi Robin,
This is most definitely down to Spam filtering, we've had reported problems with some major email providers where people aren't getting their password reset emails.
If you're still experiencing problems, feel free to contact support@socialgo.com where the team can reset your password manually.
