This is not a bug in EventBox, it's caused by a configuration option in Safari (which is used by EventBox). Safari is the browser on Mac OS X, you do not need to download it. To enable cookies, follow the instructions:
Open Safari. Go to Preferences, go to the Security tab. For Accept Cookies select "Only from sites you navigate to".

When you launch Safari, either press Command-, or from the menu bar, click on Safari and then click Preferences. – Milen Dzhumerov, on July 20, 2009 12:06

The Facebook API does not provide the users you have hidden, so we cannot hide their statuses. – Milen Dzhumerov, on July 18, 2009 23:04

A comment on the question "Way to de-dupe feeds, or 'mute' a source or sub-feed" in The Cosmic Machine:
I haven't looked into it yet but I've filed a request to investigate it further. I would also like to mention the fact that if you file your requests to our support email (see the notice at the top of the page), we will 100% look and respond to it while we do not actively monitor GetSatisfaction (due to centralization of support). – Milen Dzhumerov, on June 28, 2009 23:29

http://thecosmicmachine.com/eventbox/ would be better since we might be changing our homepage. If you file any remarks / suggestions to https://thecosmicmachine.fogbugz.com/... - that would be awesome! Thanks. – Milen Dzhumerov, on May 25, 2009 21:01

Maybe a few days for people to try out a pre-release and probably a week or so until official push to Bleeding Edge. – Milen Dzhumerov, on May 25, 2009 18:38

A comment on the question "Max of 50 posts from Google Reader?" in The Cosmic Machine:
This definitely sounds like some other issue. Does this happen all the time or only occasionally? Also, do you get any message from EventBox in Console? – Milen Dzhumerov, on May 10, 2009 23:44
Milen Dzhumerov replied on May 05, 2009 17:19 to the question "Will there be more frequent updates?" in The Cosmic Machine:
Short answer: Yes.
Longer answer: There have been several factors affecting the rate of updates. Some of them are professional, some of them are personal. Regarding the professional ones, most of the features that are going to be implemented take a lot more time and effort because we've hit a point of basic functionality past which additions are generally not as straightforward (i.e., take either a bit more time or a lot more time, depending on the situation). Another professional issue is that two fellow developers have joined and we've been spending time to familiarize them with our internal architecture and general training. This is a very time-consuming process and it's quite essential to our future development, so I'd prefer a delay in the short term for a bigger payoff in the future in terms of productivity of our colleagues (which translates to improvements in EB). I usually do not discuss my private life but in most cases, it affects EventBox as well. I've shed some light (http://tr.im/kynl) on some issues, so if you're interested you could take a look. In terms of timeframes, I think we can expect more updates starting from the 3rd-4th week of May all the way through the following months. Again, this is just my expectation and I cannot guarantee it but it's a good guess. I hope this addresses your question.
A comment on the idea "Twitpic support" in The Cosmic Machine:
Yes, of course. It would be a bit of a waste of resources if we made it only work for one service :) – Milen Dzhumerov, on May 05, 2009 17:13
