Minister of Information replied on June 25, 2008 23:35 to the discussion "MacBook Air paired with the Blogger" in Timbuk2:
Alone, your Macbook Air would probably swim inside a blogger. On the other hand, if you buy a bulky sleeve for your Air and then attempt to stuff that inside the laptop portion of the Blogger, it would probably be too tight of a fit.
You might consider our Steve Sleeve (which is designed specifically for the Air, is rather thin and offers abrasion protection only) and then pairing that up with a Blogger.
Minister of Information replied on June 25, 2008 23:28 to the question "differences in the metro and the XS messenger bag" in Timbuk2:
The biggest difference is that the Metro has a gusseted water bottle pocket inside, while the XS Messenger doesn't. Minor cosmetic differences include one outside buckle on the Metro versus two on the XS Messenger and the attachment of the shoulder strap (fixed on the XS Messenger versus completely removable for the Metro).
One other fundamental difference is that you can customize an XS Messenger on the Build Your Own Bag portion of our website, while all Metros are imported and available in stock colorways only.
All things considered, however, the bags are near substitutes for each other and almost identical in size.
Minister of Information replied on June 25, 2008 23:20 to the question "Blue Fabric on Flickr" in Timbuk2:
Given the sheen of the fabric from the flash in the photo, I'd say that the material is ballistic (our Cordura fabric has a matte finish). In our ballistic fabric, we only have three blue colors: Navy Blue, Slate Blue and Blue Fog. It's hard to tell with the flash, but I doubt that's Navy. Blue Fog is on the light side, so I doubt that's it either. That leaves Slate...
That said, I'm afraid I can't tell you for sure; a photo flash tends to misrepresent colors, and those bags were custom made in SF, so there's no SKU that I can look up for you...
Hope that helps!
