Thanks for the update -- I still got some duplicate text messages last night after you posted this. Not sure if the problem has been fixed yet, as I haven't received any texts today yet.

I know it's not a result of more than one search term showing up in a tweet, as I only have a couple of search terms.

I was able to install Sibelius Sounds Essentials, however, the computer is still having the problem where "insert insert insert insert" appears across the menu bar.

I will need to talk to Sibelius to have this resolved.

According to Native Instruments (www.native-instruments.com/index.php?...) Kontakt Player 2 will not install properly on OSX Leopard. You need to use the patch on the linked page to install Sounds Essentials from the CD. I will try this tonight and see how it goes.

Sibelius on CMT #07

Jason Moore brought this to my attention:

"Sibelius on #07 is not working right. Across the menu bar all it says is insert. We tried restarting the program, and the computer and it didn't work."

I tried uninstalling and re-installing Sibelius, and this fixed the problem. However, I couldn't seem to reinstall Kontakt Player 2 successfully.

Today, though Tweettrak lost its whitelist status, I am getting all of my tracking texts twice. It might be silly raising this when the future of the whole service is in question, but I thought I should report it.

Explain that you're from the CMT and ask for more printer paper at the office. They should be able to hook you up with a box of reams to bring upstairs.

Your username is your first initial and your last name. For instance, if your name is John Smith, your username is jsmith.

If this is your first time logging in, your password will be the same as your username.

Logging into the Computers

Right now, you can't log into the computers with your username and password. We are working to fix this, but right now, you can log in with cmtuser/cmtuser. You can log into your server space with your usual username and password.

Log into Server to save to your personal folder

To log into your space on the server to save projects, etc ...

Go -> Computer -> Shared -> CMT Server -> Connect As ->
enter your username (first initial, last name -- e.g. jsmith) and password (default is the same as your username, if you changed it last semester, it will keep that password)

Tried MMS-ing a picture to my ping.fm e-mail address (twice). The text in the message worked, but the picture didn't show up.

The same MMS sent to my flickr e-mail worked just fine.
