Isn't Spotify 'listen only'? My understanding is that it's about streaming, not buying music.

Of course, anyone could capture any amount of music (using any number of sound capture systems) if they could be bothered but that would still be illegal.

Anyway, that's as I understand it.

I can't use iPhoto because of the knackered VRAM. I can't watch quicktime videos on my desktop because of the knackered VRAM.

I can't listen to CDs, watch DVDs, burn CDs or DVDs because the Superdrive has completely failed.

But because I didn't purchase extended warranty Apple this doesn't deserve a response?

My iMac G5 VRAM internal power supply failed (was replaced), VRAM is faulty (cross-hatching around icons and unable to view / edit video) plus I can't read or write CDs or DVDs at all - before the machine was 2 years old.
