A comment on the question "Partitioning a wiki for student groups to work but only see their own group's work?" in PBwiki:
One small clarifying question, please. I watched the video of how to make page-specific accounts for my students. However. What if I have 25 pages in English 101 and 20 pages in Algebra and 35 pages in Journalism. Can I give students in those separate classes FOLDER LEVEL ACCESS so they can access all the pages in that root folder, or must I give individual access to each individual page. That would require me to set up 80 page-specific permissions. – mrgibbs, on September 02, 2008 15:29-

I too see this as a problem. Some parents won't allow kids to have email addresses. Thus I can't require pbwiki participation in my younger-student classes. I thought of having one email address of my own and let them all use it. I don't know if that would work, but it would not help me know who is posting. I guess pbwiki is not a service for small children. It's an adult resource.
A comment on the question "text wrapping" in PBwiki:
Well, well, well. I was having the same problem. I just noticed that when I view my page in Internet Explorer the text does NOT wrap. When I look at the exact same page in Firefox it wraps perfectly. What's with that? – mrgibbs, on September 01, 2008 17:09
mrgibbs asked a question in PBwiki on August 31, 2008 04:14:
How do my students join my wiki when they do have email addresses? If I want to use one wiki for my college students in a specific class, and they have emails, do I have them join pbwiki with their own email addresses and then join my specific wiki, or do I give them all my email address to log in with? Is joining just for those who wish to create their own separate wiki? I added all my students' email addresses to my wiki as editors. I'm unclear on how they access the page. Again, do they all use my teacher email address, or does each student join with his/her own email address and separate pbwiki account?
