Nathan Massey marked one of Peter Stoner's replies in Traveline as useful. Peter Stoner replied to the idea "Traveline should add the all of it's UK data to Google Transit.".
Nathan Massey replied on July 24, 2009 11:18 to the question "How can I merge groups into one official company group, whether the group owners are willing or not?" in Facebook:
There isn't a process for merging groups at the moment, but there should be. There are many groups on Facebook for villages/towns in the UK, that act as a discussion group for the community.
Unfortunately there are usually a few groups for the same location, splitting people across different groups. It would be much better if we could merge these groups into one.
Maybe a system where the admins of both groups agree to a merge, and both admins become admins of the new merged group?-

Nathan Massey shared an idea in Ofcom on July 23, 2009 08:50:
Ofcom should make O2 offer a unlock code for iPhone customers who reach the end of their contract. It's really annoying that once I get to the end of my contract with O2, that I won't be able to switch providers unless I get a brand new phone, because O2/Apple don't offer unlock codes for the iPhone (unlike every other provider/manufacturer).
If O2/Apple claim that this can't be done for technical reasons, then maybe Ofcom should look at stopping network locking altogether.
A comment on the question "Are O2 going to launch a Femtocell like Vodafone have done?" in O2:
I'm in the same position, the signal where I live is awful, as i've posted about here. My contract with O2 runs out just after Christmas, so if nothing is done about the signal, whether it's through a femtocell or otherwise, i'll be switching to Vodafone. – Nathan Massey, on July 23, 2009 08:43
Nathan Massey shared an idea in Barclays on July 22, 2009 12:38:
Barclays should send me a email or SMS message if I go overdrawn on my current account. It would be useful to be notified by email or SMS if I go overdrawn on my current account. At the moment, you get a letter a few days after you go overdrawn. A email or SMS would cost Barclays much less to send, and would be much quicker, allowing customers to bring their accounts into good standing much sooner.
Nathan Massey reported a problem in Microsoft Corporation on July 21, 2009 14:31:
Please make Internet Explorer 8 support web standards by passing the Acid3 test.I think the title says it all really. IE has long been lagging behind in supporting web standards, and making web designers job twice as difficult as it should be. Microsoft should strive to support web standards in IE8 in subsequent updates, making it pass the Acid3 test by the time development gets to IE9.
Nathan Massey shared an idea in Channel4.com on July 20, 2009 19:31:
Add a playlist/favorite feature to 4OD.It would be cool if you had the ability to create a playlist of shows from the 4OD library. You could add a little link (under where it says '> PLAY IN POP-OUT') that says '> ADD TO PLAYLIST'. You would also have a playlist section in the right hand column of the site that shows all the item in your playlist, and has a play button at the top which starts playing the shows in the playlist from the beginning.
You should also be able to 'favorite' your shows, like you can on YouTube. This would make it easier to find your favorite episodes of a show in one place.
Nathan Massey shared an idea in Arriva Bus on July 20, 2009 13:57:
Arriva Bus should add their travel data to Google Transit.Google Transit is a great way to visualise arrival/departure information and play a journey.
At the moment, the only UK operators who have signed up to Google Transit are,
Southeast UK - Traveline South East
East Midlands UK - Traveline East Midlands
London - Transit layer only
Although Arriva has a link to Google Transit on their homepage, they are not on Transit.
It would be great to have Arriva's bus services added to Transit.

Nathan Massey marked one of John Breakwell's replies in Microsoft Corporation as useful. John Breakwell replied to the problem "Could one on the employee's from Microsoft please add a logo/picture for the XBOX 360 and XBOX Live! products on GS?".
Nathan Massey reported a problem in Microsoft Corporation on July 19, 2009 20:27:
Could one on the employee's from Microsoft please add a logo/picture for the XBOX 360 and XBOX Live! products on GS?The XBOX 360 and XBOX Live! products on Get Satisfaction just have the default icon next to them.
Could one of the Microsoft employees who are on GS please add a logo/picture to represent these products?
I know there are plenty of other MS products that also lack a logo/picture, but these are the two that bug me the most.
Nathan Massey shared an idea in PC World UK on July 19, 2009 20:01:
PC World should offer to email you your receipt rather than giving you a printed one.It would be useful if PC World offered to send you receipt for your purchase via email, rather than giving you a printed copy (Apple does this at their retail stores). This would save on the amount of toner and paper used for printed receipts, and would make it easier for the customer to keep a backup of a receipt on their computer.
If the customer is new to PC World, they would give the cashier their email address after paying by debit/credit card. If the customer has shopped at PC World before, the till system should be able to match the card number used to pay for the goods to the email address provided when the customer first used that card.
Nathan Massey asked a question in O2 on July 19, 2009 19:31:
How do I turn off ALL data services on my iPhone to avoid charges whilst abroad?I'm going on holiday in a few weeks time, and I need to know how I turn off the data connection (leaving just calls and SMS) on my iPhone, so I don't get charged the £3 per MB for data usage when abroad.
