Nathan Massey shared an idea in PC World UK on November 22, 2009 23:51:
PC World should offer 'personal shopping' as part of it's Collect@Store service. It would be good if when reserving items online for collection at a PC World store, you had the option of also reserving a 'personal shopping' session at the store.
Basically, how this would work is that you would book a specific time slot on the website to come into the store to collect your product (e.g. 5:00pm - 6:00pm) and you would be met in-store by an advisor who will spend some time with you to make sure you've got all the right things you need, and demonstrate the products you've chosen.
Nathan Massey replied on November 17, 2009 14:01 to the idea "Barclays should make a iPhone app." in Barclays:
NatWest, Royal Bank of Scotland and Ulster Bank now all have a iPhone app through their partnership with Monitise Group Ltd.

Although I would like a Barclays app ASAP, I would prefer Barclays to spend the time developing their own app, as the quality of the app's from NatWest et al look pretty poor.
The new Barclays website is really well designed and polished. Hopefully their iPhone app will have the same amount of effort put into it.

As of today you can unlock your Pay Monthly or PAYG iPhone by following the instructions on the link below,

Good work O2, you can mark this question well and truly answered!
Nathan Massey shared an idea in Play.com on November 03, 2009 11:50:
Play.com should add options to sort category and search results by price, name etc.One thing that really bugs me about Play.com is that you can't sort search or category results by price or name, you just get one big list in sections of 20 products each.
Nathan Massey shared an idea in Autodesk on November 03, 2009 10:43:
Autodesk should create a Mac version of AutoCAD.AutoCAD is one of the only programs you can't get for the Mac (meaning that people have to run it in either Boot Camp or virtually via Parallels or VMWare).
It would make my life a million times easier if Autodesk were to develop a Mac version of AutoCAD.

Nathan Massey shared an idea in Apple on November 02, 2009 11:12:
Apple should offer a 'remote assistance' service as part of AppleCare. It would be good if as part of AppleCare, Apple offered a 'remote assistance' service where a AppleCare agent can remotely login into your Mac and fix any problems remotely.
Apple could include a small 'AppleCare Remote Assistance' application on the CD that comes in the AppleCare box, which would run in the background and accessed by a icon in the menu bar.
When you click on it's icon in the menu bar, you get the following options,
- Start Remote Assistance session.
This would launch a pop-up window asking for a 'remote assistance case ID', given to you over the phone by the AppleCare agent, which you would need to enter before the remote assistance session can begin. Once you enter the code, control of your machine is handed to the AppleCare agent, and you can watch on-screen as they fix your problem. The AppleCare agent would also explain the steps he is taking over the phone.
- Start Live Chat.
This launches a iChat style window which lets you do a live text/audio/video chat with a AppleCare agent. This would be a great alternative to calling AppleCare over the phone, as you wouldn't incur any call charges.
These features would make AppleCare a even better product that it is today, as the tools outlined above would mean that customers can get their problems solved much more quickly and efficiently.
Nathan Massey shared an idea in Leeds United FC on November 01, 2009 15:46:
Leeds Utd should create a iPhone application.Quite a few football clubs have produced their own iPhone app's that allow fans to see the latest news, fixtures, scores etc on their iPhone. A good example is Arsenal's app which also has video highlights and squad details.
It would be good if Leeds made their own app which did all the above, aswell as,
- Live goal alerts using 'push notifications'.
- Download the match day programme to your iPhone using 'in-app purchase'.
- Watch home/away games live on your phone.
- Buy tickets for home games on your iPhone, then when you get to the ground, a barcode is displayed on the screen, which is scanned at the ticket gate, and you are let into Elland Road.
Nathan Massey shared an idea in BBC on October 31, 2009 23:15:
Make Match of the Day available in HD.It would be fantastic if MOTD was simulcast on BBC HD. I'd imagine all the matches shown on MOTD are shot in HD, so why not produce a HD version of the show?-

Nathan Massey shared an idea in AlertMe.com on October 28, 2009 09:44:
AlertMe should create a range of 4/8 way surge protectors, with SmartPlug technology built-in.I've just come across AlertMe after reading about their partnership with Google in the Guardian, and noticed that they make something called a SmartPlug, which lets you remotely monitor the energy usage of a specific appliance, turn the appliance on/off and also extend the range of your WiFi network.
I'm planning on buying SmartPlug's for the majority of the appliances in my house, but a £25 per item, it's getting quite expensive rather quickly.
It would be brilliant (and much more cost effective) if AlertMe made a 4 or 8 way 'surge protector' style device that had the SmartPlug technology built-in. This would not only save me money, but it would also look much better than having a regular surge protector, with a SmartPlug on each port.
A comment on the idea "Add a NFC chip to the iPhone so I can pay for items using the Visa PayWave/MasterCard PayPass system." in Apple:
Looks like an interesting development!
So is this something I can go out and buy myself, or do I have to wait for my bank / mobile operator to offer it to me? – Nathan Massey, on October 27, 2009 11:58

A comment on the idea "Sky should create a iPhone app for Sky Player." in British Sky Broadcasting:
Yeah it's really good, but it's missing the premium Sky channels (Sky1, Sky Sports / Movies etc), so a Sky Player app would be ideal. – Nathan Massey, on October 24, 2009 21:19
Nathan Massey shared an idea in British Sky Broadcasting on October 23, 2009 22:37:
Sky should create a iPhone app for Sky Player.I think it would fantastic if Sky created a iPhone app for Sky Player so you could access both live TV and on-demand content (maybe even downloaded content to your iPhone for offline viewing?).
Nathan Massey gave praise in British Sky Broadcasting on October 23, 2009 22:26:
Sky Player is fantastic!I've just been trying out Sky Player (http://skyplayer.sky.com) after not using it for a while, and just wanted to say how impressed I am with it. The fact that you can stream LOADS of movies online, and watch them straight way without any buffering is amazing!
The design of the website is also really easy to use and very aesthetically pleasing.
Can't wait for this to launch on the Xbox next week. The only thing that's missing from the service is HD (similar quality to iPlayer HD ideally).-
