Jack,
After much testing, here's what I observed.
When browsing your site (http://www.jacklenk.com/blog/) with Internet Explorer 6 -- it renders properly.
When browsing with Firefox 3.0.5 and Safari 3.2.1 -- the content disappears.
I think this *might* be a theme problem with Grid Focus.
I submitted a report detailing this on the Grid Focus site (http://5thirtyone.com/grid-focus). Hopefully we'll get a reasonable response back from them.
The plugin seems to work properly across several hundred blogs currently, including 2.6 and 2.7 installations.
I'll post something here as soon as I hear back from Grid Focus.
Thanks, Neil

Hi Jack,
I'm Neil, the plugin author. I would like to help you with this and make it work for you.
I'm unable to reproduce this problem on my test blog:
Blog site ... http://drsarablog.com
WordPress ... 2.7
Theme ... Thesis 1.3.2
DandyID Plugin ... 1.3.0
Are you running the DandyID 1.3.0? (1.2.9 had a small issue that could have caused the problem you reported)
Our plugin requires cURL to be installed on your server. Can you verify that it's installed? If it's not, instructions for installing cURL are at: http://php.net/manual/en/curl.setup.php
I'll do whatever I can to help.
Thanks, Neil

Hi Andrew,
If, according to your original post, you were able to get this working (entering the code as a text widget), and your services were appearing in your sidebar -- curl would, in fact, be working.
I just released a new version (1.2.9) of the plugin to solve some display issues that were recently reported. Can you possible try the new version, and let us know how that works for you?
I'm not aware of any specific issues with WordPress 2.7 -- at least for now.
Thanks again -- we want to make this work for you.
Regards, Neil

Hi Andrew,
Thank you for reporting this.
One idea to try.
- Deactvate the plugin.
- Reactivate it.
- Go to Settings -> DandyID Services.
- Enter your settings (please be sure that your DandyID email address is correct), and press Save.
That will cause your DandyID services to be refreshed into the WordPress database.
Please let us know if that works for you.
Best regards, Neil (plugin author)

Hi Shawn,
Thanks for this detail.
This line of code -- in sidebar.php -- should be all that is required:
<?php dandyIDServices_buildTable (); ?>
What happens when you include that line in the sidebar.php ?
* * *
The css should not need any updates at all. Optionally, there are 2 styling elements that can be used:
- dandyIDSidebarIdentities
- dandyIDSidebarPoweredBy
...but, these are not required at all.
One example of using these elements in your css file would be:
#dandyIDSidebarIdentities {
font-weight: bold;
}
#dandyIDSidebarPoweredBy {
font-size:.50em;
}
Thanks, Neil

A comment on the problem "comment link on post not showing" in IntenseDebate:
Hi Michael,
Thanks for your help -- but I'm still seeing the problem on all 3 posts in IE.
In Firefox v3, however, all comment links are appearing properly at the bottom of each post.
In IE 6, the 1st 2 posts show blank links, the 3rd post shows correctly.
In IE 7 -- at least one of the posts showed a blank link.
Again, the blog page is at: http://www.mainwaypc.com
Any more ideas?
Thanks, Neil – Neil Simon, on July 03, 2008 14:18
