Why is confirming the location taking so long? Why does it sometimes end up never confirming before I have to leave?I'm new to gowalla, but it seems like a very cool idea. I have been having some problems though. When at locations, it is taking upwards of 3 minutes or longer for the app on my phone to "confirm the location". Then sometimes, it never does and I end up finally having to leave. Does anybody know if this is a common problem? Is there something I can do to fix it? I was recently out of state and was only able to add one spot. Very disappointing. Help!-

My condolences for your loss. If the account is in your parents name and you want to change it to someone elses name, you need to do what is called a transfer of service. You can call customer care and as long as your account is current, they can get you to the TOS dept where they will run a credit check to see if a deposit is required and go from there to move the account into your name. Hi suddenlink, sorry to see you're having issues, I know that's frustrating. What's going on, maybe I can give some advice? I would suggest talking in not all caps, and with respect to people..as they say, you catch more flies with honey than vinegar. Hope this helps :) -

You can go to att.com/wireless and on that main page towards the bottom, there is a link that says "Apply for a job". Click that and follow the prompts for job opportunities. There are retail sales openings in some cities in NC, but none right now in Greenboro. There are lots of other positions you can look for though. Hope this helps :) -

If you have the first generation iphone and NOT the iphone 3G, then you can change your iphone data plan to 200 msgs and unlimited data for $20, because the unlimited text feat will cover all text messages on the family plan. Hope this helps ya :)
