Unfortunately this problem is still occurring. The problem seems to be that Ubiquity isn't processing the input fast enough. If I type a query quickly and then hit enter before Ubiquity "catches up" then this behavior occurs. If I type and then wait a few seconds I can see the result preview flicker and then I can hit Enter and it behaves as expected.
This behavior appears to be limited to the new version. This was never a problem before upgrading.

Ubiquity command fails to execute when pressing EnterAbout once every three or four uses nothing happens when I press Enter to submit my command. The Ubiquity command window closes but no new tab opens. Pressing alt-space again and then pressing Enter without changing anything usually causes it to work correctly.-

This is from the docs for the latest API (2008-08-19) that the Amazon command uses.

I'll take a look at the info from the linked thread. Thanks...
okc_smoker asked a question in Mozilla on September 18, 2008 17:03:
Trouble modifying Amazon command to search all itemsI'm trying to modify the preview portion of the Amazon command to search all items, but it's not working. Per Amazon's documentation I should be able to just change the line:
SearchIndex: "Books",
to:
SearchIndex: "All",
... and it should work. Changing it to "Apparel" (or anything else) seems to work*, just not "All". Any ideas what I'm missing here?
* Mostly. It still says "Found (xxxx) books on Amazon". I can't find what I would need to change to fix that.
