A comment on the problem "Sprint pic mail not compatible?" in TwitPic:
I've been using Twitpic with Sprint for months without any issues. You may want to check something on your end. – Parker, on November 25, 2009 17:54

Tweetie 2 send text to twitpicDoes Tweetie 2 send the text of a tweet to twitpic? Original Tweetie did not, and that's why I switched to TwitterFon. If Tweetie 2 sends the text to twitpic, I might switch back.-

Posting a picture should also check you in at that locationI would like it much better if posting a pic to BrightKite with the iphone app would also update your current location as a "check in." That way the location information below the picture would be correct.
I posted a picture earlier tonight when I was out for a walk, but since I didn't "check in" right before posting the picture, the location below the picture is incorrect. In this case the location information was only off by a couple blocks since I had recently checked in from home and was walking in our neighborhood, but if I had driven to another part of the city then the location info would have REALLY been off.
If you look at the screenshot below, you'll see that my location says I was on 32nd street and Tom Green, when I was really at 30th and University.

Park replied on November 12, 2008 21:00 to the problem "Twinkle Hijacks Twitter Usernames - Unacceptable" in Tapulous:
You're right, this IS an old thread. Why hasn't anyone from Tapulous even addressed us on here yet?
What worries me is that it may be something we have to deal with. I mean, what are they going to do? In order to fix the situation they will have to tell Twinkle users that don't own the corresponding Twitter username that their account is going to be deleted so that it can go to the Twitter user. And even though this whole thing is Tapulous's fault, they're not going to want to piss off a bunch of their Twinkle users.
I think they should do away with the separate Tapulous username and make people use their Twitter account for Twinkle. I know Twinkle functions as a stand-alone platform on the iPhone/iTouch, but its mainly a Twitter client and should function as one.

I changed my Twitter username, now my pics uploaded via Twinkle are blank.I changed my Twitter username, now my pics uploaded via Twinkle are blank. I was unable to change my Twinkle username to match my new Twitter username, because someone already has it. Is this problem related to the fact that Twinkle makes you sign up for and use a Tapulous username on Twinkle instead of just using your Twitter account info?
I really love Twinkle, but if they don't fix all these probelms I'm going to have to switch over to Twitterrific. UGH!
BTW, my pics DO show up in Twinkle on the iPhone, they are only blank when clicking on the link that posts in Twitter (or other Twitter clients like Twiterriffic or Hahlo.com)
