We've been notified of a problem with the app where this is an issue. It happens if you haven't given Push Notifications permission for the app.
The way to fix it is to go to your Settings App and then in Notifications make sure it's set to On and you then give access to our App either there or when asked. You may need to run the App twice to clear the problem.
You only need to do this once and if you don't want to receive notifications you can then turn it off again without any problem. (Notifications are used to let you know when someone has sent you a gift.)
We'll put together a real fix for this problem in the next update.

It crashes after logging into FacebookI can't get anything to show on the shelves and the spinner keeps spinning and doesn't stop. If I log in to Facebook then afterward the App just crashes.

Hi Mia,
An internet connection is required for messages to be saved. This can either be a Wifi or Cellular Data Connection so it should generally always be available. If a connection isn't available the message won't get saved.
A message is saved immediately after it is received or sent, before you've opened it.

Hi, this sounds like a different thing, there's been another report of problems sending messages to our U.S. number in the last day or two. have you tried recently as some messages do seem to be arriving but some people may behaving problems. Aha, that's a seperate issue and definitly annoying. Long sms should be getting stitched back together into a single message. This happens in most cases but we know there are some incompatibilities with various phones and networks that we haven't been able to find a fix for. We unfortunately don't have any other suggestions we can give just yet - we'll let everyone know if and when there's any news on this.
