I'm having this same problem on Fido, which also uses the Roger's network... Is it a problem with Rogers, Twitter or both?
I've wiped and reloaded my phone a few times, to no avail, and then I deleted my phone from Twitter...and now can't add it again...

@ and _ characters not working on Fido Blackberry SMS
For the last week all tweets coming via SMS have had the @ characters become ? and the _ become ^ characters. When I send out, it appears with different characters when I look online/Hootsuite. It's only on Twitter feed SMS, texting to other people works fine. It's like it's using the wrong font or character definitions. What is up? Fido says it's Twitter, but I'm not completely sure...
