Hello Dick,
Thank you for posting your question.
Have you tried to run a Deep scan in windows safe mode to try and remove it? Only basic windows processes start up in safe mode, which can help Vipre better remove a threat that tries to hide itself.
Please let us know if you continue to have problems with the threat.
We will be closing down this forum soon, so in the future please post your questions on http://supportforums.sunbeltsoftware....

Peterh replied on April 27, 2009 19:02 to the problem "Vipre cause NXclient to be unresponsive/fail to connect." in Sunbelt Software:
Dragon2611, It would mean that it wont not scan that folder,
Once we determine that this does fix the problem, you can try and add the individual files to the allowed list, and remove the folder, and see if that can work, and still give you increased security.
Please let us know if you have any questions.
Thanks,
Peter

Hello Dragon2611,
Thank you for posting your question.
Try and add that program to Vipre's always allowed list, and see if that can resolve this.
To do that open Vipre, click on manage, then always allowed. In here click add, then select entire folder, and add the NXclient folder.
Please let us know if you continue to have problems with that application.
Thanks,
Peter

Have you tried to run A scan with Vipre yet to see if it detects it?
If you are able to isolate and copy the file causing the infection you can submit it at the following link so our researchers can work on adding it to the definitions.

Peterh replied on April 26, 2009 12:16 to the question "Why can't vipre connect to internet" in Sunbelt Software:
Nada_Lada, Thank you for posting your question.
There could be a few diffrent reasons why its giving them that message.
Have them check their internet explorer settings, it could be something in here causing the problem, Open internet explorer, click on tools then internet options, click on the connections tab, in here click the lan settings tab, and make sure that only automatically detect settings is selected. Then close out of Internet explorer and see if you are able to update then.
Also make sure that their firewall is not blocking Vipre from connecting to the internet.
If you have any questions please let us know.
Thanks,
Peter
