Hi!
Do not fear! The plazer is still there.
After logging in to your account, go to http://plazes.com/manage/plazes_exten... (or click "Manage" in your upper right hand bar and then "Plazes extensions" in the leftmost menu) and you can download the Plazer for Mac and for Windows systems.

Philipp J. K. replied on December 10, 2008 11:13 to the idea "Scheduled plazes?" in Plazes:
Hi, theoretically a great idea - but i guess this would place an additional load on our backend server when scheduling tasks to add them to the RSS at the moment of them happening - and not at the moment of their creation by the user. It would mean to rewrite quite a part of the software behind plazes.com :)
Philipp J. K. replied on November 24, 2008 12:22 to the problem "SMS Plazing me incorrectly" in Plazes:
Hi,
sms plazing is a big topic and would require a fair bit of time investment, time we are currently spending on other big projects. There will be probably no fix for the issues arising with the way sms syntax works.
For now, the most complete reference to sms plazing can be found here:

Hi, dragging the pin when editing a plaze should now be possible again - we fixed a bug that caused the pin to disappear.
Could you try again and tell us if the problem is still there?
We are sorry that some of the advanced features on the website are not available on the mobile site - but sometimes the technology is not yet ready to do the things we'd like to do :(

A comment on the question "What is Plazes tweeting?" in Plazes:
probably because you entered your twitter username into the Twitter extension on plazes.com. We however need you to insert the email you have registered with twitter. – Philipp J. K., on September 15, 2008 12:59

Hi, this usually happens if your profile is private or the activity you created is set as private. Also, did the twitter integration work for you before? – Philipp J. K., on September 15, 2008 11:50
Philipp J. K. replied on September 11, 2008 14:44 to the question "Mergin plazes" in Plazes:
hi guys,
you are absolutely right, the possibility to merge plazes would be a great thing. sadly, that would mean almost re-writing all the code from scratch, and considering that, as peshir said, user-triggered merging of plazes would be a really big mess of a can of worms, there won't be any news in the near future about that. however, it always comes up also in our meetings. we won't forget about it. promise.

Philipp J. K. replied on August 21, 2008 13:21 to the idea "twitter message length" in Plazes:
Hi Dave,
as you know, every message sent to Twitter is truncated at 140 chars, so there are only two ways how this can happen:
1) twitter appends other information (longer than 20 chars) to our 140 char message in which case we can do nothing about it or
2) some characters used in the title of the activity are non-standard (like ₧₤¥➢➦➛⇐∀⊥⊄∈∧⊕⊄≅ĹĽĶĘĠÑÉċŽćťŝň and similar) and might be encoded inside the sms using more than one character. this could lead to one sms being encoded in 160 characters but containing only, say, 140 letters. still, this is very improbable.
Do you recall on which activity tweet you received more than one sms?
