Phil replied on January 20, 2009 19:42 to the question "How do you handle tentative reservations on rezgo pro?" in Rezgo.com:
We are enhancing the the way that Rezgo users can organize and label their tour and activity bookings. In our next release this week we are adding label functionality that is similar to Gmail. These new labels will allow users to organize tours in a variety of ways that were not possible before. We have separated folders from the booking status to allow for a greater range of organization and planning.
You will be able to create your own labels to suit your needs. You can label tours with names such as "Due in March" or "Need to be processed".
I will be releasing a tutorial to demonstrate this new functionality within the next few days.
All the best,
Phil

Hi Val,
I believe that Stephen was referencing our secure contact form that allows your customers to contact you directly through the Rezgo system.
All accounts have this contact form, and you can link to it at:
http://YOURCOMPANY.rezgo.com/?content...
All messages received will then show up on the back end of your Rezgo account.
I hope this answers your question.

Hi Indrek,
I have been to Tallinn, and I think is is a wonderful place!
To answer your question about unconfirmed bookings. Rezgo is designed to feature live availability for your customers. If you require a certain amount of sales before your limited availability tours departs, you should set your "Min Per-Booking" amount to that number. This would allow you to still offer the tour to larger groups.
If you are unable to guarantee that a tour is going to depart, I would not enter that tour into Rezgo, but would create an email request form so that people can inquire about your availability.
All the best, Phil

Phil replied on January 13, 2009 21:12 to the question "Additional purchases at booking" in Rezgo.com:
Hi Summer and Val,
While we currently do not support add-ons based on a number, you can use our checkbox form field to give options to the booking party and not just to each guest. In this example ( http://supertours.rezgo.com/tour_new/...) I use the checkbox form field to add options to the primary user only, and with the different pricing scheme they can add as little as one additional lunch, all the way up to 10 additional lunches.
It is a work around, but it works :)

Server Upgrade and IP Address ChangeWe have recently upgraded Rezgo's server to the Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2). This will add speed, reliability, and scalability to our service.
If you have a payment gateway that requires you to register your IP address, please note, that the Rezgo IP address has changed to 174.129.243.25
We hope that our server upgrades improve your online tour management and booking experience.

Hi Fabie,
Thanks for noticing the missing link. As this is a third party platform, I am unable to update posts, so here is the intended link:

Phil replied on December 16, 2008 17:57 to the question "Customizing Booking Confirmation Page" in Rezgo.com:
HI Val,
We will be expanding the functionality of the confirmation page in the near future, however you can already include this information.
Anything added to the "additional info" box of your tour settings will be included in the booking confirmation.
Feel free to add any info that is useful for your guests, but also be sure to fill in all of the defalut fields like "pick up / departure" and "Drop off / return".
The bar codes are part of our remote check in functionality, we are starting to integrate our distribution system this month, and we needed a way to verify that a booking was legitimate when it is received from a third party.

Hi Val,
Keep in mind that you can use custom form fields to add flat fees/charges. Just be sure to make the fee required, and that it is presented to all users.

Phil replied on December 16, 2008 00:15 to the question "Custom Form Fields" in Rezgo.com:
Hi Val,
Good question, there are a few situations that this can happen in. The most likely is that you are only capturing the "Billing Information" only, and not capturing information from the party. If your form field is for "All Users" as opposed to the primary contact/ billing contact, it will not show as you had selected not to capture that information.
So you have two choices to show your form:
1. Change the tour summary settings to get information from the party.
2. Change the form to only show to the "Primary User Only"
If you make either change, you will see your form field.
Hope this helps,
All the best!

Phil replied on December 01, 2008 20:08 to the question "Adding more than one tax/fee" in Rezgo.com:
Hi Val,
There are a few options to accommodate this. First, you could include the GST in your total bill, and then add the $3 Land Use fee in the Tour Option Taxes field.
Alternatively, you can create a form field that is required that will allow you to all the Land Use fee to everyone booking the tour, or just one fee per booking party.
