As far as moving, I recommend exporting the popling in Batch format, manually breaking them into sections, then creating new poplings with the batch mode.

All Poplings should be limited to 100 cards. I've done this to break up learning into manageable chunks. I'm not sure how you stuffed 450 into one, but congrats, you found a bug! :D

I suggest breaking your future Poplings into groups of 100.

Sorry if this goes against your normal learning flow, I think it works for most people though.

On the wishlist is an API and such but as a one man team, that's a bit far out.

Martin, have you tried clicking 'next card' after viewing the answer on the 2nd notification (pop)? That's how the application knows you've viewed the card.

Having too many characters to type in your retention is harder to type and more frustrating to have to repeat because of a simple 1 letter misspelling. Also, displaying too many characters makes a mess of the screen which makes it harder to read the answers.

I'll look into how I can change the display issue and I'm open on how to fix the retention issue.

Popling shows you the answer the first time you see each card, then asks you the answer on the next time. I didn't think it would be appropriate to ask you the answer before you have a chance to review the card. Looks like I need to signify that somewhere!

#2, easily doable. I hope to have a fix out for that by end of next week. Part b will take longer, but is a great idea and is on the roadmap. I left that out of my previous remarks!

#3 decreasing this loading time is key for user happiness, and your suggestion is brilliant. I had one of those, "DOH! I should have thought of that!" moments when I read it! Again added to the roadmap!

Thanks for taking the time to create such detailed feedback.

One issue I deal with with Popling, is creating a system that can work with different alphabets and keyboards. I like your suggestion of the mini keyboard, but I'd have to make one for each language to make it work correctly. Bascialy I have to pick and choose my battles, so I let transliteration do the job for me. It's not the perfect way to learn the language, but it's a start, and that's how I intended Popling... a good start at a great vocabulary trainer for as many languages as possible.

Your suggest 2 though is a definite need in the app and it's on the development road map. Can you tell me what the average waiting time is currently between cards?
