A couple things:
* for your first issue, Help Contents should open up a new browser window and open to http://www.mozillamessaging.com/en-US...
There maybe an error in the hand-off from Thunderbird to your default browser. We don't open up a window with an index of help subjects. We direct people to our help web site so that we can update information faster.

* on your second issue with clickable links. Does this happen to all emails where you can't click on a link to open to a web site? Some of the links may be altered e.g. blocked:http://www.someurl.com by the sender and we don't do anything about those right now. The current solution for this is to right click the link and paste into a new web browser and then remove the bad parts of the url, in the example, "blocked:"

Hi Wayne, thanks for catching the error. We missed it, sorry. I only saw the reference to the 'this is an early alpha" in the faq section.

The beta language makes sense because there are beta users out there and people who are tracking our changes closely. I assuming you're talking about the known issues section.

What are you using for your ATT/Yahoo email system? Are you just accessing ATT/Yahoo email via the web? In any case, you'll need to export your ATT/Yahoo email as an .ldif file or a .csv text file

There are export tools in the ATT/Yahoo email system to help you.

Then you'll need to go to Thunderbird's address book and use the import wizard to import the address book you just created.

You should just be able to install Thunderbird 3 on top of Thunderbird 2 and your mail account settings and emails should working in Thunderbird 3.

Maybe check the junk mail folder? It could be that either your email service or Thunderbird is putting emails from your sister into a junkmail folder.

If it's Thunderbird, you can reset the Junk mail filter in Preferences, though I think it's more probable that it's the email service.

You will need to contact your ISP/email provider e.g. myemail@att.com or myemail@cox.com in order to change or reset your password.

They'll direct you to a web site where you can change or reset your password.

Hi,

Thunderbird does support multiple identities. Go to Tools > Account Settings. Near the Cancel and Ok buttons, there's a button for Manage Identities.

When composing an email, you can choose the identity you want.
