It's something we've been talking about for a while, and we've done some work towards it as well.

What would you want to use the PDF file for? Besides the raw data, is there anything else that needs to be on the page?

Or that you'd want to be there? (colours/styles, legends, grids, scale, labels, coordinates, paper sizes, ...)

Hey, so I tried to log in to Slideshare to upload another presentation and it wouldn't accept my password. That's weird. Reset it (got the email and followed the link and changed it), and it still won't let me log in: "Login unsuccessful. The password and/or username entered by you is incorrect."

Any bright ideas?

Hi Trevor,

We've had some performance slow-downs around exports since some server migrations a few days ago. They're being resolved now (the hamsters are back on the Red Bull), so your download will finish eventually.

In general, exporting any size layer isn't a problem, but we're making some changes over the next couple of weeks to improve that significantly.

Hi infitude, its a problem with selections spanning the anti-meridian not being checked consistently across different modules.

Until we get it fixed, if you redefine your selection area to avoid crossing ±180° longitude you should be good to go.

There isn't a way to cancel the creation of a download once its started.

But you can hit the Back button and create another download using the same or a different selection.

You can hide & show layers by clicking the checkbox next to the layer name.

Currently there isn't a way to show/hide all the layers or adjust visibility on the small map.
