Freshbooks. I just exported from there to a CSV file and imported that to Outlook then exported that to a CSV but FAC says can't import any clients when I try to import that.

Hi,

Before I put in a lot of work and kick myself, just want to check something. I am about to create a lot of invoices on 1st of Sep which will all recur on 1st of each subsequent month. No problem so far. Although each invoice is created on 1st of the month, items will be added throughout the month and the invoices will then all be re-dated to the last day of the month and sent. IN September this will all look fine and the invoices will be redated to 30 Sep and probably sent on 1 Oct. Will this cause any problems for the invoices which I am expecting to be created on 1st October on the recurring basis?

Hi - if you can support client input from Outlook in CSV can you support a CSV file from another app?

I can export my clients in CSV, Quickbooks or Simply Accounting format. Can FAC accept any of these or do I have to enter them all manually.

I have also seen from other threads that invoice date can't be imported. I want to import 3 months of invoices (about 100 in total each with about 5 entries) - is anyone out there able to write a little API programme (paid for of course) to do this?

EDIT: I can also export in Excel and HTML.

When I email invoices the client gets an email from me (i.e. my email address). Two questions:

1. Is it possible to set FAC to send invoices from another email address e.g. accounts@..... ?
2. If not, will the from field change depending on which user sends the invoice?
