Thanks, Andraz - at the moment, I have no suggestions (other than to add an "options" button by Zemanta in FFox's open Add-ons window). I've noticed that you're adding sites other than Wikipedia for suggested links, and I think that as you continue to expand that ability, that I'll be more and more likely to use Zemanta.

If I come up with anything else [laughing at self], I'll be sure to let you know ;-)

Fascinating, it seems that Typepad changed their internals. It's our bug. For now you can use that "saved url", but soon enough the normal one should also work.

Oh, wow... Now this is interesting! When I got to "My Weblogs" in TPad, and hit "Compose New Post" http://www.typepad.com/site/blogs/6a0... Zemanta does NOT show up:



BUT!!! When I got to "Compose post" from a URL the FFox has kept in history: http://www.typepad.com/site/blogs/615... Zemanta shows up...



UPDATE: I also notice that when I use the "New Post" link from an EXISTING post in the editor (My Weblogs> CatHouse Chat> List Posts> (chose post "x")> New Post (near top on left, by "previous/next post" links) that I get Zemanta with no problem. So, perhaps it's an issue with TPad and that one link? (From My Weblogs> Compose New Post)

OK, tried all that, and I'm seeing the "+" in the right side of the address bar, but I'm still getting nothing when on TPad. The "+" also remains greyed out no matter what I do, but the "enabled" option is still checked.

Something tells me this is going to end up being a Problem Between Keyboard and User...

Jure, I'm not seeing Zemanta icons ANYWHERE in FFox. I have checked the "Tools" menu and see Zemanta there, and it has the "enabled" option selected, but when I just now go to the TPad "compose post" dashboard, nothing is coming up.

I tried typing in a title to the post, hoping that maybe Z needed *something* to start with, but still, the right tool bar for Z doesn't appear. It's very VERY weird, because - obviously - it has appeared before.

What I'm going to do now is strip off the Z plug-in, restart FFox, and add the plug-in again to see if that works. Give me a few minutes, and I'll tell you if it seems to have worked or not.

That's a very interesting question for which I don't have a good answer. It looks at the URL of the composing post screen and some other details.

In the cases when Zemanta doesn't show up, is the icon in the title bar orange? Do you also get a small box right-side that says only Zemanta?

We could add preferences to title bar. I'll ask the engineers if that would work out for the way we have implemented this.

I was in these forums looking for a way to edit my preferences, and saw a response that the link was on the right side of the toolbar. So, I went in to my TypePad compose new post window, expecting to see the Zemanta bar - and it wasn't there.

So, I have two problems/questions:
1) Why is it that the Zemanta toolbar sometimes vanishes/doesn't come up when I'm in TypePad?
2) How do I force it to appear?

Erm, THREE questions:
3) Can you add an options/preferences button to the Zemanta bar in the FireFox add-on window for the next release?
