Hi Showbag,
1 -
I read over the abuse report in question - your opponent did not play in the spirit of the game? Your opponent said absolutely nothing to you - here's the game history:
History:
========
21-11-09 19:33 null: null
21-11-09 19:33 System: Your opponent has disallowed takeback requests
21-11-09 19:33 System: Your opponent has disallowed abort requests
21-11-09 19:33 null: Dunst (Sleipner, Heinrichsen) Opening
21-11-09 19:44 null: bondnj won 10pts
showbag lost 10pts
21-11-09 19:44 null: Your opponent has left
21-11-09 19:44 showbag: fu ck head
In my opinion, that is unwarranted abuse. Yet you're saying the warning given to you by Support unjustified? If you could point out exactly where this player deserved to be sworn at, I'd appreciate it.

ChessCube Moderator "comeandcatch" speaks and understands English - in addition to this, he's also Moderating the Help to assist any Indian users who might need assistance. Moderators are allowed to play the occasional chess game, as we are a Chess site afterall. I won't be making excuses for Bryan playing chess. On that note, when I log onto ChessCube, I deal with -at least- 10-20 private messages within 2 minutes of logging on, both from user and Moderator problems/queries/those begging to be ChessCube Moderators, and even more so, I give my attention to the biggest rooms on ChessCube as a first priority. I don't recall you sending me a Private message though, as I respond to -all- Private messages I receive. You are welcome to send -any- Moderator a Private message, and we will get back to you.

On the note of bullies, lets have a look at another Abuse Report:
History:
========
22-08-08 19:50 mascoto: Do you want to play again?
22-08-08 19:50 showbag: OK
22-08-08 19:51 showbag: idiot
22-08-08 19:51 System: Your opponent has left
Yes, Moderators might be having an off day once in a while - who doesn't? They're Moderating on ChessCube for free! - yet most of the time they spend on ChessCube is dealing with abuse, as in above, or cheats, or racists, or xenophobic users, harassment, or threats. When users ARE getting great service from Moderators, which happens more often than not, it's never reported. Would you go into the Cube Cafe and say "Wow, I just got -great- help from Bryan - thanks!". In Porkpie's case - one Moderator doesn't speak on behalf of all Moderators - if you feel HE needs training, don't group him with the rest of the site Moderators.

I agree with some of your points. Yes we do have bugs, we are aware of this, and we are addressing them. Certain users do encounter bad experiences while playing on ChessCube, as bugs show themselves more to some than others. We are however constantly upgrading our servers and software to ensure that all bugs are squashed in good time. I do understand your frustration regarding these problems, and do hope a future release will alleviate these bugs altogether.
There are various channels for you to make your voice heard - via "Feedback" on the ChessCube Application, emailing support@chesscube.com, emailing me directly via sean@chesscube.com, our Forums, and via GetSatisfaction. You are welcome to send your feedback and opinion's through any of these channels at any time.
We are constantly striving towards being the number Chess site on the web, and your feedback is welcome. ChessCube is a relatively new website in the market, and bugs can be expected at these early stages, however with user feedback and a degree of understanding, we all could work towards achieving this goal of being on top.
Thanks for your report.

Sean Wyngaard replied on November 25, 2009 18:37 to the question "Chesscube program don't start, just a black page" in ChessCube:
Hi SrAstartoh,
Please try clearing your browsing history / cache and reloading the
page. If this does not work (and you are using a bookmark to get to
ChessCube), try logging on from www.chesscube.com in stead of using
the bookmarked link. Make sure that your firewall allows access to ports 1935, 843, and 835. Also, try logging on to ChessCube from a different PC. If you're able to access ChessCube elsewhere - there must've been some changes to either your anti-virus software, firewall settings, Operating System via an update, or changes to your ISP security changes.
Thanks,
SeanW

Sean Wyngaard replied on October 20, 2009 17:57 to the question ":( Why was my game aborted when opponent disconnected Not Fair!?!?" in ChessCube:
Hi Alex,
I completely understand your frustration regarding this. The current version of ChessCube is a relatively new release with a lot of major changes from the previous version, so bugs can be expected. For this reason we do not reverse / correct incorrect results caused by bugs (or restore rating lost) during the early release stages of new versions. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Feel free to email me at sean@chesscube.com if you would like to discuss this further.

SeanW

Hi Daniel,
We don't really encourage the use of a second account. Of course there is no stopping you in doing this, but keep in mind that all activity on both your accounts will still be monitored, and if any cheating or self-playing is detected, we will remove both accounts from our server..
