Yes, we did remove the date field on purpose, to simplify the form. Just the location and your story is fine.

As for the location field, we're hoping to overhaul that map widget soon. It’s not as good as it ought to be.

Strange! I can use the checkout just fine. Do you see the screen that asks for "Your Contact Email"? Does it eventually redirect you to PayPal? Which step of the process is hanging for you?
