Put a Cloud Computer into "sleep mode"?Unless I have missed it, I dont think there is a way to make a cloud computer inactive as opposed to actually deleting it , or leaving the group.
I set up new Cloud Computers for each ( long ish) project I take on. It would be great to archive these upon project completion so they don't show in my current CC list.
I don't want to delete them, nor do I want them active, just archived, or sleeping until I need / if I want to wake them.
Could this be added to the feature request list?

repeating events - option for the 2nd Thursday each month? Is there a way to set up repeating events in the calendar in "natural language" so that I could book a regular recurring meeting on (say) " the second Thursday of every month"

No , no confirmation number recieved.
I think I have set everything correclty at my end; my mobile is formatted 0797xxxxxxx, carrrier checked as O2 - United Kingdom, and apple iphone selected. I have experimented with dropping the first zero, and prefixing with 0044, and other combination's, all without success....

Mark Shayle replied on June 10, 2009 20:24 to the question "cannot confirm my mobile number" in AirSet:
Hi Brian
Having Googled "O2 email gateway" I found a list and seemingly two such gateways using this format for O2 in the UK:
44phonenumber@mmail.co.uk
44phonenumber@mobile.celloneusa.com
Well Ive experimented using these and not a peep from my iphone!
I have tried talking to O2 Technical Support, who had no idea what I was talking about, so could not confirm if it is possible or not. I'm a bit stuck, so I was hoping another iphone user on O2 in the UK might have cracked it.
-----
Aha, just looking a bit further ans I discovered this helpful snippet of information on another website:
"O2 M-mail (formerly BTCellnet) (from: 20, msg: 120, total: 120)
Enter phone number, omitting initial zero - must be enabled first by sending an SMS saying "ON" to phone number "212". Goes to +44[number]@mmail.co.uk."
Just sent the "ON" SMS, and trhen sent myself an email in the +44[number]@mmail.co.uk format, and presto, all worked!
Im going to go tinker with my Airset account now and see if it all runs smoothly now!

Mark Shayle replied on June 09, 2009 21:23 to the question "How to add a large number of members to web computer" in AirSet:
Hi Son
If you go to Administration > members> add members in the window that opens you will see in small blue type: "Click here to import contacts".
Click the link, navigate to your excel file, and just follow the import instructions, and the invitation dialogues.
I do this a lot , although usually I import my excel spreadsheet into the Contacts application first, and then invite group members from there, once I have cleaned up the address data, tags etc.
Hope that helps!
Mark Shayle gave praise in AirSet on June 05, 2009 15:25:
A few bucks of praise.....I find myself sitting in front of my screen at the end of a long week, and realising just how much I have come to rely on Airset , (and this forum) over the last few months/ years. Airset , along Googlemail in are set as my default start pages, and I spend most of my working time flitting between the two.
I was skeptical with the recent introduction of the Premium Services, and feared that Airset could be moving to a place that would price me out of using the service. My worries were unfounded. I have been really impressed with the companies engagement with the concerns of end users, both in public dialogue here, and in the care they take supporting customers privately via email. The new "crowd sourced" pricing structure options, rolled out after the primary structure was introduced, was a bold and concrete way for the company to engage with its customers......very impressive, IMHO.
I thought the ad supported service would drive me nuts, but in truth I have learned to live with it without being bothered by the loss of screen real estate. Also the content and style, as promised, has not been too shoddy at all!
I decided this week to "treat" myself to a couple of Premium Services, one to remove ads from the public website of one of my web computers, the other to lose the ads from my personal web computer. The public website looks much better without the ads, although it wasn't offensive before, the later a conscious decision on my part to in some small way contribute.
I didn't really need to commit the few pounds (dollars) a month I'm spending with Airset, but I think it in all our interests that the Airset Management team and employees see some return on their long term investment in the company, and are able to grow and thrive.

Just picking up on this ( good question Susan!) had a little play with this feature. Am I missing something;
Say I have three sub calendars, but only want to display two of them how do I click to select the ones I want? Or is this feature not possible?
It would be great if this drop down menu was had selection radio buttons next to each sub calendar.
Cheers

Mark Shayle asked a question in Apple on May 29, 2009 21:12:
How can I make A0 .pdf files?Hi,
I recently upgraded to Leopard, and have now lost the ability to create A0 .pdf files from my CAD package, TurboCAD. In the past I used JawsPDF creator, but it does not appear to work in Leopard.
In turbocad I create scale drawings, usually at 1:25 scale, that I save as A0 .pdf files, and email to my local print bureau for plotting
Annoyingly I appear to be able to save/ create .pdf in A1, A2, A3 sizes, all that view well in Preview, but when I try to make an A0, Preview just returns a blank page. I had thought this was a Preview setting issue, and have fiddled with all the settings without success.
I would really welcome a solution to this problem, as the ability to create A0 .pdf's is vital to me earning my bread and butter!!
Thanks in advance
Mark
