Agreed, I would also like to see better read/unread support - if I scroll past a message manually I would like the option to have it marked as read.

At present, the only way I can see for marking a message as read is by manually clicking each and every tweet to unstar it.

it would be great if one could see which content is downloadable to the desktop without having to open up the individual program page, either by a graphical indication on the program thumbnails scattered throughout the site or by a page listing all downloadable content.

At the moment it can be a little hit and miss on finding offline content to download and this can save some time.

if you upload via ftp, often the resulting URL is too long and ugly - I manually use tinyurl to shorten it but it would be great if skitch had the option to perform this shortening for us.
