by automatically connecting with your poken friends we mean that you will have the link to their social network accounts, and can easily find them there. you will however NOT be automatically connected in those social networks. we want our users to have the safest experience possible when it comes to their data. this means that it is important to us that you as a user can still decide whom you want to accept to which social network.

it sounds very much as if the battery is dead. does the poken not glow/blink anymore at all? if you press the button in the palm for 3-4 seconds, does the lightshow come on, or nothing happens?
where did you buy your poken from? as i understand it, you don't have it since a long time, correct? if you have it from a reseller you might want to contact them concerning the battery already being dead (if this is the case).

sorry to hear about your troubles! could you be a bit more specific about when it doesnt work? some users used to have problems with the timeline loading, but this bug has been addressed and should be solved now.
what kind of operations system and what kind of browser are you using? do you have flash installed? (http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/welcome/)

we have logged the bug, and are working on fixing it asap. don't worry about loosing contacts, we will for sure be able to make them appear.
