Hi Edwin,

Long time, How have you been?

I have looked into the xpi of feedly and xpi of the other extensions which worked with prism [ad block plus & stylish]. i guess i found a solution which might work.

In normal installation on firefox, feedly puts the icon on toolbar and urlbar icons in the address bar [overlay.xul], which i suppose, are the basic problems when installing on prism.

the solution would be removing the urlbar icons and putting the toolbar icon on status bar [which i have seen on both adblock & stylish].

instead of this

<toolbarpalette>
<toolbarbutton class="toolbarbutton-1 chromeclass-toolbar-additional">
</toolbarbutton></toolbarpalette>
</toolbox>

we use something like this...

<statusbarpanel>
<!-- with some oncommand, tooltip, etc... here -->

Do look into this, and make a test version of feedly which could work for prism.

Would love to test feedly on prism... do consider sending me the testing version.

well i tried few methods but failed... i guess help is needed from the feedly team.. as for interface, feedly adds a button on the address bar in browesr.... i felt this was one of the reasons i had unsuccessful installation of feedly on Prism.

sounds great edwin... just a point, since you are working on UI/CSS, i would like you to suggest the skin/css to be part of the preferences.... where we can change/edit css color codes... similar to "Color of unread article links" where we can edit the color codes.... more like a skin interface... when a new skin is selected these codes are updated.... and we can have options like "save it to the < skin - name >" "save as new skin" ... giving a opportunity to anyone to edit and reuse the skins .... – slax, on October 21, 2008 12:50

PS: hi edwin...i am back from the dead :)... well i ran into a problem... feedly not loading for a while... was busy to check why... but finally got the solution.... it was because of this "88.191.18.64 www.feedly.com" in the hosts file... maybe this was mentioned at this place... but just in case – slax, on October 21, 2008 11:47

i have subscribed for digg and what is observed is

1. i dont see how many diggs does the story have
2. when i click over the link > it takes me to digg page
3. ability to digg stories on digg.com [and maybe on any feed/story]



i guess that will be work on digg api and integration into feedly...

Taking to the digg's story link is possible as seen on Friendfeed
