Phantom plurks after Halloween (and time change)responses to some plurks are not showing up, and I cannot see plurks that I have sent. I have refreshed, and attempted using a different browser and refreshing that. (I normally use firefox, and attempted IE to see if FF wasn't refreshing for some reason) I'm wondering if this could be related to the time change possibly as it seems to have happened when the time changed in my time zone.

I had refreshed and restarted before I'd sent that. The problem apparently was rearing its head again tonight. A number of people on my timeline were complaining about it. I wasn't around enough today to notice, but when I first checked in tonight, it did appear that things weren't working quite right. Currently, as far as I can tell, everything seems to be ok.

Responses not being shown.Hey guys, new responses aren't showing up, and by the looks of the messages on my timeline this has been a problem for some time tonight. at least the last 3 or 4 hours.

Unknown Errors EVERYWHEREUnknown errors are happening all over the place since the introduction of the search feature. I've had them show up in plurks, on my timeline, trying to view others timelines, and possibly a few other cases.

Plurks show new responses on some plurks when all existing responses have already been read. Some plurks with responses that have already been read keep showing that they have new responses. This appears to be always happening with whatever plurk I posted last and some plurks from my friends. In the case of the plurks from my friends, I don't know if it is their last plurks or not because it hasn't happened consistently enough for me to pin anything down.
This doesn't appear to be connected to a refresh of the browser and seems to just happen normally as the timeline reloads new plurks and responses.

I don't want to speak too soon, but it looks like they may be. I've been trying various combinations of mobile plurks and plurks from the site, and everyone seems to be able to respond just fine. Also, everyone is able to reply to RockerJenn's mobile plurks now. I even went back to one of the ones that didn't work earlier and posted to it.
Are there any specific things we could check to help you guys out?
Thanks for the hard work Amix - I appreciate it.

Here's a little more information. With RockerJenn, this appears to be happening on the plurks she posts from her mobile phone. On the post to http://www.plurk.com/Responses/add I'm getting a 400 error. The response from the server is "Unknown language en-US"

Some people are still complaining that they can't send responses to their own plurks on the site right now, and I just verified that I am having the same problem. I can respond to other plurks, but not my own from the non-mobile site. When I try, it just sits there with the text still in the response field and does nothing. I don't get any errors.

In the browser, everything seems to work. At plurk.com/m though I created responded to my test plurk, and the response didn't show up. I then went back to the main timeline, and the plurk said 3 responses. I clicked back on the plurk and only saw two. when I looked again from the non-mobile site, the response is there. So I'd say in some cases responses still aren't showing in mobile plurks.

Experiencing problems posting plurks and responses from browser and mobile. There are many odd things going on today. First of all in my browser, I get a "Could not plurk. Try again in a minute" error every time I attempt to create a new plurk. So I tried to send a one mobile which worked. Occasionally, I cannot send responses from the main timeline, but can from mobile. On the mobile site, I can create plurks and send responses fine, but I can't see new responses. On the main site, if I Iook at the page for a plurk in my browser such as the following link, I can respond and see responses just fine. http://www.plurk.com/p/pk04b Many of my friends are reporting some of the same issues, especially with the mobile site.

I have verified that #1) other people's new plurks aren't showing up on my timeline #2) If I browse to their profiles I can see their more recent plurks #3) Interestingly, I can see a more recent plurk from 1 user, JerryThomas, who has more than 1000 followers #4) I'm not getting notified of new responses to that plurk.
It appears similar to the problems we have seen before where timelines weren't updating correctly.
Please let us know what's going on.
Thanks.-

Possible Plurk ProblemsPlurk appears to be broken. In the last 30 minutes I have not seen a single new plurk or reply. I have never seen a period this long where none of my friends has said a thing, so I assume something is probably wrong. I could be wrong though. I can post plurks, and respond to them, but I'm not seeing anything new coming in from anything else.-

Reasons for friend requests and rejections. It would be nice if we could supply reasons along with our friend requests and rejections. I often get requests from new people who have browsed my time line, and have no idea why they want to be my friend. On the other hand, I reject anyone under 18 and would like to be able to be able to give them a reason. Both could be optional.
Perhaps these reasons could be in the form of a 1 time private plurk between the two parties allowing them to have a private discussion. Just a thought.
