A comment on the problem "I can't get Delicious integration (using Yahoo! ID) on Flock" in Flock:
The fix we had was for the login detection using Delicious credentials.
Did you login to your Delicious account using an Yahoo! ID, by any chance? If so, we were able to see the same issue as yours. We filed a bug on your behalf here: https://bugzilla.flock.com/show_bug.c... , and our developers will look into it.
We apologize for the inconvenience,

A comment on the problem "I can't get Delicious integration (using Yahoo! ID) on Flock" in Flock:
Hi,
Thank you for the screenshot. It's very helpful.
Which version of Flock are you currently using? You can view this information by going to Help|About Flock in Windows, or Flock|About Flock in Mac.
Could you please:
1. view the same Delicious page as in your screenshot
2. log out of the Delicious site
3. if the orange message bar with the "logout" button remains, just dismiss it.
4. go to Tools|Options|Privacy in Windows, Flock|Preferences|Privacy in Mac, and delete all Delicious cookies
5. force the service update (same steps as in my previous post). Please make sure to wait for the service update to complete successfully.
6. close browser and restart it.
7. go to delicious.com and log back in.
If that still doesn't work, please type "about:webdetective" (without the quotes) in the URL bar, then press ENTER. Please, copy and paste the line that mentions Delicious here. It should look like:
delicious: $Id: delicious.xml 22946 2009-11-23 20:47:35Z justin $
Thanks,

Sophie replied on November 23, 2009 23:08 to the question "Can you have multiple homepages?" in Flock:
Hi,
Please :
1. go to Tools|Options in Windows, go to Flock|Preferences in Mac
2. choose the Main tab
3. under the Startup section, enter the URL of your multiples Home Pages under the "Home Page:" field. Use the characters | to separate them. For example:

Hope that helps...

Sophie replied on November 23, 2009 22:57 to the question "Flock and Apple Quicktime Issue!" in Flock:
May I ask why you're sending me to apple.com to see if quicktime is installed successfully when I stated that I do NOT want to have to download this add on???
...... Flock alone does not require nor ask Apple Quick Time to be installed. However, you've mentionned that "Flock keeps asking me to install Apple Quicktime". I'd like to know if it was, somehow, in the past, installed on your computer independently from Flock. The Apple site has a detector that will tell us whether it was installed, not properly installed, or not installed at all. An improper install could have triggered the message that you do not wish to see.
No problems with Windows Media Player ...until downloading Flock!!!!!!!!!! Can you read what I can writing?????????
...... Thank you for the clarification. Based on your post and its title, it wasn't clear to me that you had some Windows Media Player only after installing Flock.
Plus, it took 2 days to answer this??????
...... We're truly sorry for our late response. Please understand that we are a small start-up company, with no 24/7 tech support team, especially on weekends.
Regarding your overall issues, we're really sorry to hear your frustration. However, we are not able to reproduce them on our side. Any additional information or clarification would greatly help us troubleshoot your issues. As a result, if you could provide us with a link to one of the sites that shows the Quicktime message, we would be appreciative. This will allow us to investigate this issue further.
Thanks,
Sophie

Sophie replied on November 23, 2009 21:51 to the problem "I can't get Delicious integration (using Yahoo! ID) on Flock" in Flock:
Hi,
This issue should now be resolved.
If it's not, please:
1. Forget your Delicious account from the Accounts and Services sidebar
2. Force the service update. To do this,
- For Windows: go to Tools >> Options >> Advanced >> Update, and click on the "Force Service Update" button.
- For Mac: go to Flock >> Preferences... >> Advanced >> Update, and click on the "Force Service Update" button.
3. Restart Flock. This is important for the update to take effect.
4. Go to delicious.com, login, and re-configure the account.
Please let us know if you're still having any issues.
Thanks,
Sophie
Sophie replied on November 23, 2009 21:29 to the problem "Crashes are flocking on me when trying to print" in Flock:
Hi,
We're sorry to hear your frustration...
Do you have any extensions or themes installed? If so, please disable them and see if that helps.
Also, does printing or saving the same PDF files work properly in Firefox?
I found a few feedback from users having the same or similar issues as yours, in Firefox:
- Firefox bug report: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug...
Since it also occurs in Firefox (upon which Flock is based), I'm afraid this seems more like a Firefox bug than a Flock bug.
Thanks,
Sophie
A comment on the idea "Notification of new email in Yahoo webmail subfolders doesn't work" in Flock:
@shinobi28881,
We strongly suggest that you contact the author of the Webmail Notifier add-on to report your issue. We, Flock, have no control over the functionality of the add-on.
Thanks,

Sophie replied on November 23, 2009 20:58 to the question "Flock and Apple Quicktime Issue!" in Flock:
Hi,
>>> do I have to get rid of Flock in order to use my windows media player?? Flock keeps asking me to install Apple Quicktime
Could you please clarify whether you're having issues with Windows Media Player, or with Apple Quicktime? Or both?
Which OS are you currently using , and which version of Flock do you have? You can find the version # by going to Help|About Flock in Windows, or Flock|About Flock in Mac.
Also, please go to http://www.apple.com/quicktime/troubl... : does it state that QuickTime was successfully installed ?
Last, could you please provide us with an example of a website that keeps asking you to add Apple QuickTime? We're able to view websites that require it without any problem, so we'd like to reproduce your issue with your website example.
Thanks,
Sophie

Sophie replied on November 23, 2009 20:29 to the question "How can I make "blog this" upload an image to a drupal blog host (without using hotlinking)?" in Flock:
Hi,
You could right click a picture and choose "Upload Image...", or drag and drop a picture into the uploader icon. This would add it to the photo uploader, instead of creating a new blog post.
However, it's not possible to upload the image directly to a drupal server.
We apologize for the inconvenience,
Sophie

Hi,
>>> when using firefox, chrome or iexplorer they are blocked, but with chrome, i can access them
Just to clarify, did you mean that with Flock, you can still access them?
If so, have you properly entered the site's URL in the host file? When visiting the site, have you typed the exact same URL?
We've just tried on our side, and it's working fine. Could you please provide us with an example of a site, for which you could not successfully block in Flock?
Thanks,
Sophie
Sophie replied on November 23, 2009 19:34 to the question "only 152 characters (not 160) post to MySpace" in Flock:
Hi,
Could you please tell us which OS you're using, and which version of Flock you have? You can go to Help|About Flock in Windows, or Flock|About Flock in Mac to see the version number.
Also, does your long status contain extra space such as "aaa bbb"? If so, MySpace automatically trims them out (so that it'll display "aaa bbb"). Could that explain the reason why you were seeing 152 characters on your MySpace page?
If you have not entered any extra space, could you please provide us with an example of long status?
If you update your status with the following paragraph, will it properly be displayed in the People sidebar and on MySpace's site? Paragraph is: MySpace is a social networking website. Its headquarters are in Beverly Hills, California, US,[2] where it shares an office building with its immediate owner...
Thanks,
Sophie

Sophie replied on November 23, 2009 19:16 to the question "flock embedded download helper" in Flock:
Hello,
Add-ons specifically designed for Flock or usefully to Flock users can be found here, but there's no specific one for downloading embedded videos.
Could the one you heard of or read about, actually be the Firefox add-on?
Thanks,
Sophie
