That's a known bug and we are working on a fix for it. If you refresh the page that should go away.

Yes, that syntax was taken out. In 2.0 if you search for a place and scroll down to "not in this list" you can add a place and give it whatever name you like. Unfortunately this can only be done on the website and in our upcoming iPhone update, but we are working on expanding it.

We have been experiencing some general bugs with SMS, so it's not specific to Verizon. We are tracking these down and squishing them as fast as we can. This seems to happen intermittently for place searches, I tried a bunch of different types of searches many times and sometimes it gave a 404 and other times it did not. We will investigate.
