Thanks for taking to time to suggest a feature. It is a very fair.
We actually have this feature but it is not exposed yet, for simplicity sake.

Posting in circles is bound to become the norm on Yokway, as it allows subscription patterns that act as natural filters for the community. We are in the process of making it easier to manage and subscribe to circles.

This is an interesting problem and a good suggestion. We'll take a look at the quality level of the online services for translations first. In the meantime, Yokway's semantic engine can detect languages quite accurately, so we could propose our users to only be exposed to languages they select in their preferences. Would that be a good option to start with, in your opinion?

Hi Dungar, thanks for the suggestion. Spell checker is not on the radar. As a workaround, you can always use Mozilla Firefox to browse Yokway, as it has integrated spell checking.

What you're looking for does exist. The Yokway bookmarklet drastically eases the sharing process, and mea culpa from the team for hiding it so much. We are taking measures to make it more obvious to the Yokway community that they can post "in context" from any site using the bookmarklet.

So to install it, click on "Share Something". In the pop-up, select the link "Use the bookmarklet" and follow the instructions on the next screen, on how to install the bookmartlet for your browser.

Thanks for the compliments. We were expecting requests such as this one, so we let our users get back the posting (versus comment) time-based feed by selecting his/her preference.

Go to Account > Preferences, and select "Show last shared post first" in the Browsing Experience panel.

Hi Nicolas. Thank you for taking the time to suggest some enhancements.
Yokway already provides RSS feeds for the Explore view, per user view, per circle view and My Network view. All you need to do is click on the RSS icon on your browser to get the RSS view. For example, the RSS feed for the Explore view is accessible at http://www.yokway.com/c/public?frmt=rss.

Regarding the email update (for circles I presume), we've been refraining from sending it so far to avoid spamminess, but we might add an option to opt in for users who want to be notified that way.

Albert, thanks for your feedback and valuable suggestion. Indeed, there are several desktop RSS readers which can help you monitor your Yokway feed and alert you whenever something is posted. The one I use is NewGator Desktop, which is very slick. When you are on Yokway though, the service will also notify you whenever something is posted on your feed, via a little notification that will appear at the bottom right of your screen. This way you do not have to refresh the page to find out if new content is available. See example at http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3103/2...

Regarding your comment:

Our next deployment will feature a automated listing of postings related to the item a user currently posts, which will not only allow the user to see similar items with no effort, but also will give users the opportunity to discover like-minded people / people who have the same interests on Yokway.
