Creating Shows and Tours in Loud Feed
In this tutorial, we will go through the process of creating a show. To get started, there are two concepts that need to be defined.

Show - an individual event that is being promoted using loudfeed.
Tour - a series of shows, linked together by a unique tour name.

Once you have created a series of shows, and linked them together by assigning them to a tour, they can be added to your homepage, and are shown in your homepage widget! The picture below shows the add show interface.

Additional show information such as start time, ticket costs, a url for purchasing tickets, contact info, and flyers can be added by clicking on the "advanced information link."

    Adding an Album
In this tutorial, I will go through the steps involved with adding an album in the Loud Feed system. There are 5 things necessary to create an album in Loud Feed. These five things are listed below:

    1. The Album needs to have a name.
    2. The Album needs to have an artist.
    3. The Album needs to have a Label.
    4. The Album needs to have a copyright line.
    5. The Album needs to have a song.

Step 1: Give the album a name

First, enter the name of the album that you are creating. This is entered in the field shown below.

Step 2: Assign a label to the album

Second, assign an existing label to your album. This field will autocomplete with all labels that already exist in the Loud Feed system. If you have not yet created a label in the system, then you can click the "add new label" button, and you'll be taken to the edit label screen where you can enter the name of the label, or create a new label of your own!

Step 3: Assign an artist to the album

Next, you need to assign an existing artist to your album. This artist field will autocomplete with all artists that already exist in the Loud Feed system. Start to enter the artists name, and when it populates in the text box, complete the name by tabbing of finish writing the name, select the artist role, and then click "add artist"

If you have not yet created an artist in the system, then you can click the "add new artist" button, and you'll be taken to the edit artist screen where you can enter the name of the artist. When you click back to album, the artist will automatically be added to your album.

Step 4: Add a copyright to the album

Enter the copyright information for the album that you are publishing.

Step 5: Add a song(s) to the album

Below, I have listed the three options for adding songs to an album.

Batch Import - Select this option to use our batch uploader to load multiple song files at once. The song name will be pulled from the ID3 tags on the MP3s that are loaded.

Add a song - Select this option to upload an individual song file.

Add entire tracklist (No File) - Select this option to create multiple songs at once without loading any audio files.

    Additional fields
Above, I have outlined the required fields for publishing an album, but below I go into detail on some additional components that can be added to the album.

    Cover Art

To add covert are to your album, just click on the browse icon shown in the screen shot from the edit album screen below.

    Advanced Information

Below is a screen shot of the advanced information section of the edit album screen. Here, you can add advanced information such as liner notes, release date, barcode, volume number, etc.
