alas, the fix didn't last. when i opened Flock this morning, it was the same old problem again...the "People" sidebar opens every time...and now if i change it to a different Sidebar, e.g., "Feeds," it automaticly switches back to People when i go to a different item in Flickr. Also, the "People" sidebar keeps switching to a new sidebar: "You are not currently logged into Flickr" [even though i am]; underneath it has a thing to click on that says "Login to Flickr" ... when i click on to this, the Flickr "People" sidebar comes back, but almost immediately closes back to the new sidebar "You are not currently....

hi...i'm steve, the other guy who's having the same problem.
First, i should tell you that i have my Flock set so that it opens to Flickr. when i click to open my Flock, the "People" always appears on the left, and in the View/Sidebar, "People" is checked. I click on the "X" on the upper right of the sidebar..."People" disappears, and it is no longer checked in View/Sidebar. HOWEVER, when i click on something in Flickr, "People" instantly reappears and it is also checked again in View/Sidebar. This process repeats each time that i close "People" then click on items in Flickr.
If i close "People" then click on something else (e.g., "Feeds") then the new thing stays, and if i close it, "People" does not re-appear!!! When i close Flock, then re-open it, "People" does not come back!!!!!
HEY!!!! In writing this, i think that i have fixed the proiblem!!!! :-D
I'll let you know if the problem re-appears.
