What is your workflow for recording or encoding events in the field?

I am wondering what some of our customers are using in the field to encode live events such as ballgames and council meetings. What is your workflow? Are any of you using portable recorders or drives? Which ones? What formats are you recording in? We get this question from current customers and also others that are looking at purchasing an SX server so I thought I would ask our experts out there in the trenches to see what is working best.

I have done a lot of polling of customers and have not had one that said 2Mbps upstream was not enough. More to come in a blog post. - Steve

I see that the National Weather Service has International Weather including Canadian.......I wonder if that means it will work for you Canadians. I want to add a question: If the National weather service breaks things down finer than what the Carousel template seems to offer, can that information be displayed? For example, in Colorado, the break certain areas down by elevation.
