Stuff and Nonsense replied on August 28, 2009 14:24 to the problem "Broken links at Transcending CSS" in Stuff and Nonsense Ltd.:
It took a little while to get our ducks in a row, but with the relaunch of the last of my three sites at http://stuffandnonsense.co.uk I've been back over the book buying issue.
Instead of hosting any product information locally, I decided that it was best to point people to an Amazon Store. Amazon's HTML and CSS is horrible to work with, but there are now stores themed like http://forabeautifulweb.com/ and http://transcendingcss.com/
You shouldn't find the broken link anywhere on the sites. If you do find a stray one, please let me know.
Kind regards,
Andy Clarke

Hi Eric,
Yeah, Annoying isn't it. http://www.tweet.cc/ was registered by someone (in the UK) already, but they don't seem to be using it for anything. Shame.
If you're reading 'Topfer's' from Welwyn, UK, do the right thing and let us have the domain. Please.

I've just changed the wording on the site to make the different licenses issue clearer I hope.
Realistically, whatever license you tweet to @tweetcc is applied, so you can license under anything you want. The site just aggregates license declarations. But I don't think I made that clear in the original wording. Hopefully it's better now.
That's what soft (boiled) launches are for I suppose ;)
As for avatars, for now I think that adding "I license my avatar" will do the trick. We'll think about this more though when the dust settles.

Stuff and Nonsense replied on December 13, 2008 21:55 to the question "Apple have not resolved Time Capsule internet connection dropping issues" in Apple:
So in an attempt to be able to work, I switched back to a wired ethernet network (my office is wired) with my BT Voyager modem connected to my TimeCapsule acting as a hub.
Guess what? The TimeCapsule STILL drops internet connection every so often, so wireless cannot be the problem.
When connection drops, I have two choices:
1. Renew the DHCP lease
2. Wait a few minutes and connection restarts by itself
I wonder if that helps with a diagnosis?
Stuff and Nonsense replied on December 07, 2008 23:47 to the question "Apple have not resolved Time Capsule internet connection dropping issues" in Apple:
I'm experiencing much the same. I have found today that there is now another wireless network in range (it appears only periodically in the Airport menu).
Airport appears to scan for networks every so often, and when it finds the other network it gets, errr, confused.
I will look to see if there is a way to turn Airport scanning off.
Stuff and Nonsense asked a question in Apple on December 05, 2008 20:57:
Apple have not resolved Time Capsule internet connection dropping issuesThis is getting beyond a joke (if it ever was one). This is my situation. I have:
1 x TimeCapsule 1Tb
1 x Airport Express (for AirTunes)
1 x Airport Extreme (to extend the network)
2 x iMacs
2 x MacbookPros
2 x iPhones
All devices updated with latest firmwares and software.
Over recent weeks (since the recent updates), my network has become almost unusable, with periodic internet disconnects as frequent as every few minutes. (To be clear, it is the internet connection that drops, not the wireless network).
Turning Airport off and then on again on the affected Mac restores the connection on that device (for a while).
I have tried:
Reboots and resets
Upgrading and downgrading firmware
Changing wireless channels
Switching interference robustness
Unplugging Airport discs and printers
Disconnecting additional Airport Express and Extreme extenders
Nothing has resolved the constant internet disconnects. As a studio, we rely on FTP and reliable connections to the web.
As my network was working perfectly before the latest updates, I am confident that this problem was caused by those updates. As this is becoming a known issue, with several discussion threads on this forum, we need Apple to resolve this problem with an update immediately.
This is not good enough Apple.
