Susie replied on May 03, 2009 19:08 to the question "How long do completed goals stay on the "done" list" in SuperViva Life Lists:
Hey there Tiger,
It's designed for them to be there permanently. The limitation is ... well there's a limitation, so depending on how many small things you're adding you may hit the limit. I'd suggest maybe periodically saving the list to have it on hand although I know that's not ideal. Unfortuntely I'm not working on changes for now. But if some of your goals are missing, well that's a problem so let me know. You can reach me at support@superviva.com
Thanks,
Susie

How goal limits workA frustrated someone sent me feedback about limits on the number of goals you can have on your life list. Unfortunately it came through as private feedback without an email so I don't know how to reach you. So here's some info:
There is a limit of 500 public goals total on your life list, but you can add more privately. This was because some people were abusing the system and obviously just using it to collect thousands of ideas (or something like that). Also, the site isn't really designed well at this point to display a lot more goals than that.
I hope this helps and sorry for the sadness! :)
Happy new year!
Susie replied on December 25, 2008 17:47 to the idea "Superviva and Iphone App" in SuperViva Life Lists:
Hi Christen,
I love that you suggested this! However unfortunately it won't be happening anytime soon.
While I haven't perused all the available options on the iPhone, what first came to mind was Remember the Milk. Also I'm pretty sure Google just came out with tasks although I'm not sure if those are on their iPhone app yet. Since both of these are pretty well supported and have continued development they might be better bets for your day to day list tracking.
I actually use my SuperViva list more long term for bigger goals then write down my daily goals that feed into the big ones, as well as on my phone calendar.
I hope this helps even though I know it's not the answer you wanted!
Happy new year :)

Make the company clearer on the Get widgets page.By default was "get satisfaction" set as the company for my widgets? I don't think I selected that. It seems like the company of which you're an employee should be the default. It was only b/c I was wondering how you knew to associate the input with my website did I look at the code and explore the page to see where my company name was.
It would also help to repeat under each widget title like: Widget code for (company) (change company)
Hope this helps :)
Susie asked a question in Get Satisfaction on December 08, 2008 04:55:
GS plans feature chart? Is there a chart or bulleted list of features in Free, Basic, etc. for Get Satisfaction? I'd really love to see that, especially a comparison between the Free and Basic plans. If you could jot it down here if it doesn't exist yet that would be great. Thanks

Feedback widget questionsDo companies usually implement both the feedback tab AND the feedback page so you can have easy everpresent feedback as well as being able to visit the full feedback page on my own site?
Also it would be cool if you linked to demos of each of the widgets from http://getsatisfaction.com/widgets

Widget bug when entering feedback emailOn http://getsatisfaction.com/widgets
I did this:
1) find company name and select it
2) enter feedback email address, and am sent to:
http://getsatisfaction.com/companies/[companyname]

It submitted successfully so the error is that you had your error page displayed.

SuperViva isn't loading because...we changed something related to the domain and, as they say, "something didn't work as expected." The site will be back online before you can memorize the latest Harry Potter book.
In the meantime I am offering All You Want brainstorming / ideas in thanks for your patience!

Susie replied on July 31, 2008 20:30 to the idea "New features requests" in SuperViva Life Lists:
Hi there - Yes all great ideas I've mulled over many a time. And I know this is the tip of the iceberg in terms of what would be nice. It is fabulous to hear what's important. I'm going to start boldly asking for financial endowments to make these dreams come true. (That was my way of non-boldly asking.) :) If you have any thoughts on that let me know!
Here are some thoughts and questions:
1. Some goals are complex and truly are mutli-steps goals. It would be nice to have an "add sub-goal" feature to a parent goal.
-->Definitely would be nice, and also to make these available to the public to copy the stepped lists (kind of like an ehow).
It sounds like you use the feature to group goals into lists. I especially like doing this for goals related to travel. While I know it doesn't nest or order the subgoals it kind of addresses that. Here's an overview: http://www.superviva.com/tour_topicbr...
It's interesting that in the past I wanted to use my Palm to do this, but they didn't have enough levels of "parents/child" relationships in the to do lists. If you're really into this there are lots of specific to do list management software and websites out there. Not to discourage you, just trying to help!
2. Add "recurring goals" type. Example: "Volunteer in a homeless" every first Saturday or every month.
-->This type of thing I put on my calendar. The life list isn't really designed for this in terms of being a full calendaring system. I could see how it could work, but I found drawing the line in saying it isn't a calendar replacement made prioritizing features easier :)
3. Add "reminders" to goal due approaching date
-->Yes, definitely would be nice.
4. Add "related goals" features where the member can connect several goals together with precedence. For example: I need to "Graduate high school" first in order to "get acceptance in Harvard Law"
-->Ya that would be cool and is slightly related to #1. An overall annual planner to prompt you to look at school schedules and plan vacations in advance etc. would be nice.
5. Be able to assign multiple goals from the Active list to one or more life lists/dimensions
-->I'm excited you use that feature. Alas for now you'll need to do it 1 by 1. Sorry :( A way to work around this would be to make lists named like the life dimensions. I know it's not ideal but it would work.
or reset them to no list, similar to 'Get HTML code' functionality
-->I'm curious - have you seen this page:
http://superviva.com/my.lists.php
There's a small "edit" link on the left side of the life list.
Thanks!! Great ideas.
