Here try this: On your Internet Explorer, click

TOOLS ---> INTERNET OPTIONS ---> SECURITY ---> TRUSTED SITES and select the button that says SITES

When the box opens up, add this address, http://embed.snapvine.com
then click ADD ---> CLOSE ---> OK

Please make sure that the phone you are using is authorized to make long distance calls, and that your caller ID is not blocked when you call.

This could be one of 2 problems.

1- If you are using Safari as your web browser you may need to try using Firefox or Internet Explorer. Currently, Snapvine does not support Safari.

2- You may not have the latest version of Flash. Visit www.adobe.com and download the latest verison. This should only take about a minute. If none of these suggestions fixes your problem, please email me directly at christian@snapvine.com

Yes you can! Log onto your account at www.snapvine.com and click ACCOUNT and selct PRIVACY SETTINGS. In this menu, you have to option to limit who can see your profile and you can also set your replies to private. Once you set your replys to private, they cannot be heard by anyone unless you approve them for the public first. Hope that helps!

Is it possible that you are calling from a phone that someone else has validated to their Snapvine account? If this is the case, your voice blog entry ended up in someone else's voice blog. You must validate your one telephone per Snapvine account in order for this not to happen. Validate your phone by following these links:

ACCOUNT ---> PHONE NUMBERS ---> ADD PHONE

You do not have to have a Snapvine account to listen to and record voice comments, but if you try and send a comment without an account, no picture will appear.

Chazz, i can suggest two things.

1- Make sure you have the lastest version of Flash. Go to www.adobe.com and download it if you need it. It should take you less than a minute.

2- Use Firefox or Internet Explorer because Safari does not support Snapvine at this time.

I tried it, and I don't think it will work. When you right click on the "PLAY" button, and save it, you will be saving the picture of the play button, not the audio. And if you hover over the title of the voice comment and right click and save, you'll only be saving the profile key (URL) of the address of the voice comment and not the audio itself.

Yes, there is. If you have music recording software on your computer, like for instance Creative Wave Studio you can open up a new project, play the audio of your friend then save it as a wave file on your computer.

Unfortunately there is now way to edit an existing photo shout out. If you want anything to be different about it, you will have to start from scratch. As far as getting the code for your photo shout out to put it in another location, you must click the "SHARE" button, and copy the code. Hope this helps!

You can remove the Snapvine voice player from your MySpace by going to your MySpace "EDIT PROFILE" and locating the section where you entered the code. Erase the code from your profile and you will remove the voice player.
