MPD client libraries are here:
http://mpd.wikia.com/wiki/Client_Libr...
Some of these are in perl, python and ruby, so if there's already scripting or prototyping going on in the app, that may pose a low barrier to entry.-

Having done a bunch of 10-key data entry in a past career, I expected enter to deposit. And being a big web nerd in the current career, the green color in deposit makes me think it should be the default action, hence deposit on enter.
This might be as simple as the order in which the buttons occur in markup. Wrapping them in a fixed-width container, reversing their markup order and giving them floats to give them the opposite order in layout as in markup could provide the current appearance but make deposit happen on enter.
I don't know if you're doing unobtrusive binding in the ID's of those buttons. It could be that you switch what the enter listener binds to in that case.

group dashboard for cooperationOn the assassinations page, you can see the risk factors of the spymasters in your ring. I think it would be useful to see critical stats of all spymasters in your ring. Maybe in a ring section of the dashboard. Then we can identify the weaker members of the ring and help them get their stats up. Maybe with the ability to DT from in there for collaboration.

twitter news crawlI think it would be neat if you could get a cable news style headline crawl superimposed at the bottom of the screen of the tweets of the people you're following.
This would help answer the question "what am I going to do after I watch this".
Right now it seems that most twitter stuff on boxee posts what you're doing... but I think it would be neat to see what other people are doing too.
