Damn! Engineer just informed me that I gave you the wrong link.

Please give it a try and let me know how it goes.

Thanks, I have asked our engineers to take further look into the matter. If you wish, you could send me an email at support@tibbo.com and it will be easier for me to track the issue since I am not actively monitoring this forum. :)

Hey Alex,
Please try this recent build with a fix for this issue:

Let me know if it works out OK for you!
T-bone replied on July 09, 2009 06:38 to the problem "ds203-00 stop functioning" in Tibbo:
I am confused, I thought that you first loaded the wrong firmware "tios-em1000w-2_16_30.bin" into the DS203. So, you lost connectivity with DS Manager on the Ethernet side.
So, we have been trying to get the firmware upload to work through the serial side and thus the instructions from my last reply to you. Did the steps that I mentioned help and is the device loaded with the correct firmware now?
You can only "initialize" when you have the correct fixed function firmware (EM_370.bin) loaded into the device first.

OK, on the screen where it says "Power the device off, press and hold the setup button, and...." When it appears on the screen, please follow the instruction, as for the position of the setup button, please refer to our online manual:

Hi Mao,
I am wondering, when you restart the DS203 with the setup button pressed, does it go into the upload process? If the upload process is finished and you see the red light blinking, it means that it is in "Error mode" and you will need to initialize the unit. Please refer to the following links for more info:

T-bone replied on September 30, 2008 09:17 to the discussion "Using RJ1202 with EM1000?" in Tibbo:
Hello Hugh,
Yes, you are correct in that the pin order for the EM1000 is different from the EM1202. If you check our EM1000-EV or EM1000-TEV, you will note that the RJ45 connectors that we use also do not map exactly in the same direction as the EM1000, this should not be a problem as this should be easily dealt with on the PCB layout. The EM1202 is special in that we needed to minimize the distance between the EM1202 and RJ1202 to fit into the same foot-print as the EM202, so we made the specifically made the pin to correlate with each other.
T-bone replied on September 12, 2008 03:26 to the question "How to Disassociate from a wireless network?" in Tibbo:
Hi,
Actually, if you just want to check for the current RSSI level, you do not need to disassociate it. All you need to do is to read the wln.rssi again. Try this by moving the unit further away from the AP and re-read the RSSI level again.
Also, if you wish to issue the wln.disassociate, you need to be sure that the system is in idle (pl_wln_task_idle) since a wln taske cannot be performed until the previous wln task is completed.

T-bone replied on September 02, 2008 01:02 to the question "Why doesnt the on_sock_data_arrival fire when there is an inbound http request?" in Tibbo:
Hiya!
It us because if you use sock.httpmode = YES, this means that HTTP requests to the port that you specified will be handled internally and will not cause the the on_sock_data_arrival event to fire.
If you wish to handle the HTTP requests by your own, you will need to use the socket as regular type of socket and basically write all the needed handling routines.

What you are stating as "Error Mode" and "Quick Initialization" refers to the serial-over-IP products. The EM1000 and EM1202 are both part of the Programmable Modules. So the documentation for Serial-Over-IP does not apply. Please refer to the following link for information on how to start:

Please take a look at the following page from the Programmable Hardware Manual on how to enable the panel:
http://docs.tibbo.com/phm/tev_lb1.htm
And yes, the Terminal Demo was not developed to work with the OLED panel.
