A comment on the idea "Dragging files to the Postbox Dock Icon should start a new email with those files as attachments." in Postbox:
Yes, this was a Mac-specific request. Again, additional requests should be filed as separate GS posts. Thanks. – Tim Samoff, on December 10, 2009 16:03

If you have additional enhancement requests, tyou should probably file them as new GS posts so that they can be commented on and tracked. Good ideas! – Tim Samoff, on December 10, 2009 13:17

Tim Samoff shared an idea in Postbox on December 08, 2009 20:04:
Postbox should communicate with GMail about what is and isn't spam...It would be nice to tell GMail what is and isn't spam/junk from Postbox. I.e., if a valid email gets sent to GMail's Spam folder, which also comes to the Spam folder in Postbox (IMAP), I'd like to be able to mark the email -- in Postbox -- as "Not Spam," and have that command be sent to GMail, so that the next time a similar email was received, it wouldn't be sent to the Spam folder. Of course, I don't know if this is entirely possible, but it'd be nice.

When I updated Postbox to v1.1 Beta 1, I was asked to update Lightning as well, which is now 0.9.3 when I look at the Add-on from within Postbox. It was all an automated process. – Tim Samoff, on November 06, 2009 14:27

Tim Samoff asked a question in Twitter on September 24, 2009 15:27:
How to reset DM limit after being hackedDM limit reached during yesterday's phishing hackfest and now I can't DM at all. Is there a way to reset my DM limit? Or someone I can contact about it?
Thank you!

A comment on the question "Is there an option to temporary disable an email account?" in Postbox:
Ok, this doesn't completely work, as it takes you _so_ offline that you can't view mail anymore (IMAP). So, a more elegant solution would definitely be appreciated. – Tim Samoff, on September 09, 2009 18:20

I just realized that adding something like "null" to the incoming server settings will achieve this. Pretty GUIs are better, but this works. – Tim Samoff, on September 08, 2009 14:09

I would love to be able to do this. I have an account setup that I don't "use." What I mean is, all mail is routed through GMail and then delivered to Postbox. But, I don't want to delete the account that originates the email (it's useful for periodically expunging the original server without having to open my browser).-

This can be done (as I do with iCal) by syncing your Calendar app to Google Calendar. Lightning syncs everything to Google. This will sync iCal to Google:
