Just managed to resolve it.
Weirdness.

Was using Safari on Snow Leopard, switched to Firefox and it worked, so deleted cookies from Safari and finally managed to login with.

Browser details:
Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10_6_2; en-us) AppleWebKit/531.21.8 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0.4 Safari/531.21.10

Login doesn't seem to be working. Keep getting redirected back to the login page. My email/pswd is correct. 'Forgotten Password' shows the same password.

Is site down? Am I missing something?

Please advise.

A comment on the problem "failing to list tweets in column" in HootSuite:

Hey Moni,

I was trying to add a column to follow individual tweets but couldn't get them to display content. So for example adding a column to search for "from:jeremypiven" or "from:thenaturalstall" doesn't display any content. But if you go to either of those twitter pages you can see there is content and they are not private.

It looks as though this is a twitter issue.

no, they are public updates. — Contacted twitter plus checked their support according to which people who have signed up in the last eight weeks can be experiencing this problem.

Weirdness.

So it seems to be a case of sit and wait.
